Bristol Myers has come out with Nuprin a couple of times over the last 10 years. This was the best thing going without having to get a prescription. It really did work without having to use acetaminophen, which now they are saying is dangerous. I did write to Bristol Meyers and ask them if they were going to be coming out with Nuprin again any time in the future. Here is their reply,"Thank you for your inquiry regarding Nuprin. Bristol-Myers Squibb has discontinued manufacturing and marketing Nuprin due to declining sales. In the consumer marketplace, every product has a "life cycle", which is the period of time the product enjoys good consumer acceptance. As new products are introduced and competition increases, the acceptance of the original product starts to diminish. When acceptance reaches a point where the cost to market outweighs consumer acceptance, a decision must be made to raise the price or discontinue the product. This is the situation we faced with Nuprin.
