I bought the Scrambler primarily for fishing and it has served me well. The shop owner that sold me the kayak recommended the Scrambler as the best all around value and he was right. The scrambler is light and fairly short for a kayak, making it easy to...

When I moved to FL I sold my sit-in and bought a scrambler. It may not be fancy, but it is easy to store, versatile, and I can carry it myself and put it on the car myself. The tracking isn't bad and I can throw my snorkeling gear, a cooler or whatever else onto it. Overall I think it is the best beginner kayak or low maintenance, no-brainer kayak.
