The Yahoo is the best whitewater sit on top kayak I have ever seen. It also is one of the best kayaks I have seen in handling large surf. You absolutely cannot beat this kayak in whitewater or in the surf. My family owns one, and we use it all the time...

Cons: No Tracking - Need's a Seat back - No Storage

I've owned a Yahoo for about 4 years. I've taken in down rivers and through the surf. It's great in the ocean. Downsides are there is no storage and don't try paddling flat water for any length of time. It simply doesn't track at all BUT you can turn it 180 in one paddle stoke. You might want to invest in a seat back as if you are on the kayak for even half a day, without one your back will pay. I bought it primarily for fishing hard to get to spots and it has been great. As for surf'n in the ocean it need a skeg.
