When we were moving out of our house into an a condo, consideration had to be given to the noise levels to our neighbors below.  Hence, the trusty Landice L7 had to be put aside for an elliptical trainer.  Having used these at 24 Hour Fitness, we were very particular as to what we were looking for.  After a relatively short hunt and a couple of "upgrades" to get what we wanted, we settled on the Q47ce, for a hefty $3,700.  In my opinion, the best exercise purchase.  It is quiet and has great range of motion.  Added to that is the arm exercise and the many programs built into the machine.
