Pros: USB and Video hookups are included. Easy to Use, has batteries already. Will use rechargables. Cons: Gears can slip causing it to seem broken.
I was doing a lot of online work when I first bought this camera. It was my first and only digital camera. As a beginner, I picked up on it real fast. Placement of the controls on the camera are as follows: 1) Push the on/off button on top/ ...

Pros: good quality, decent options/features, user-friendly, cost-efficient, compact, durable, red-eye removal, etc. Cons: Battery life, night shots, super-macro, no viewfinder
As an amateur photographer, I was sick of using my 1.3 MP digital camera my mother had decided to buy me as an afterthought. I wanted a good, intermediate - beginner camera that could take nice pictures, but wouldn't cause a hole in my (or my parents') ...

GREAT CAMERA VERY EASY TO USE
by gregcrist ,Sep 03 '06
Pros: small compact, very good zoom easy to install Cons: no battery included
I got this camera with my air miles but I saw in store that the retail price it's about 200.00$ CAD I find that the price is very good for the a 5.0 MEG camera. What I like the most of this camera is that it as a turn button that lets you choose in one seconde the mode you need. It's tru like most camera that don't come with built battery the life of 2 AA battery is very low. It's a pretty small camera with beginer option and a 11x zoom which is kind of good for a 200.00$ camera. This camera was for once really plug and play no need to install CD or downlaod updates very user fiendly. the screen is fairly big and the casing seam prety strong

Great Starter Camera
by parmruss ,Aug 12 '06
Pros: Price, ease of use, macro settings Cons: Short battery life, loss of detail for distance objects, edge blurring in macro mode
Bought this camera last April, and it was my first entry into digital photography. All in all, I'd say that this is about as hassle-free as you can get, and the pics are fine for general use. In macro mode, there's some blurring around the edges, but it sure is fun taking closeups from an inch away.
The only gripes I have is that details are not as crisp as I'd like for long-distance objects like trees, etc; at least on my CRT monitor, they tend to lose detail. Also, you'll need to take two sets of AA batteries; they don't last long! But, for $150.00 I think this camera was a good deal.
