Olympus SP-310
by sighcotic1 ,Jan 14 '07
Pros: Versatility, versatility, versatility! Cons: Only has a 3x optical zoom.

I am a "advanced" amateur, but wanted a small camera--space is at a premium on a motorcycle--that would still allow for some creativity over a simple "point-and shoot". This camera delivers! I also purchased the high-speed 1gb card, and upgraded the Olympus Camedia software--by doing so, I can now take panoramic shots, and even 3-D pictures! The camera has many built-in programs such as "fireworks", "candelight", "portrait", etc, and can even a super macro mode that will allow the camera to focus at less than an inch!
