Pros: Mexican food that is tasty, fresh and reasonably priced. Cons: None that I can think of.
Every so often I get a craving for Mexican food that just cant be satisfied with my own home cooking, though I do make a mean Chicken Enchiladas dish, that wasnt what I wanted on a recent weekend evening. I rummaged through my wallet for a gift ...
Pros: Atmosphere & Service, food. Cons: Prices of appetizers a little too high.
My wife is fanatic about Mexican food; in fact it's her favorite. And so it that I usually treat my wife on her birthday with completely paid for Mexican meal. But believe it or not good Mexican restaurants are hard to come by. The area in which we ...
Pros: Fantastic fish tacos, good service. Cons: A large number of their dishes are substandard, canned-quality, boring mexican fare.
Even where we live in the somewhat balmy south, a 70 degree day on New Year's Day is a rarity. So my husband and I went for a long drive around town to get out in the sunshine. We ended up right next to an On the Border Mexican Grill & Cantina ...
Pros: great food, fair prices, comfortable seating, good service Cons: Not worth complaining about
Every time the SO and I drive by the Maine Mall, she always points out On The Border, a local Mexican restaurant chain, out to me and mentions wistfully how much she loves to eat there. So, on a recent special occasion, I took her out to eat there. This ...
Pros: Food Selection,Entertainment,To-Go service Cons: Some meals are pricey
On the Border is one among the many Mexican restaurants in Amarillo, Texas. Although, there is some special charm in this place that keeps us coming back. And since the food is cheap, we can afford to come back. We normally head up to the local On The ...
Pros: Outside seating, big portions, great drinks & clean environment Cons: NOT authentic Mexican food, stay away from enchiladas
Being from Texas, means you get a good helping of Mexican food over the years. In fact I would say that almost weekly we eat some form of it come meal time. So I can honestly say that I am an expert when it comes to authentic Mexican food. A ...
Pros: The bathrooms were clean. Free refills on chips and salsa. Cons: Advertising merchandise for beer given to children.
May 5th, hot desert wind blowing, car full of hungry kids and looking for a decent Mexican Restaurant. Suddenly my son spots On the Border and we whip into a crowded parking lot, grab a spot and head inside. It's dark, cool and incredibly loud. ...
Pros: Food looks good... if you could only get it hot. Cons: extremely slow service, cold food
Wow, what an inconsistent restaurant. Our first trip was for dinner, and we felt the place was decent, but nothing to write home about. Prices were a little high for the location in Texas compared to other Mexican restaurants. The food took quite awhile ...
I just came back from On the Border in Paramus, NJ. I ordered my food and soda, and every soda I got tasted like tonic water, and I kept telling the girl to take it back and finally I said forget it, just give me an iced tea. I got my food and ...

Pros: Excellent food for the price and the outdoor experience Cons: None here
We decided to try somewhere different to take the twins. We have very few restaurants that are kind of noisy. We look for these type places to ensure that the twins are able to talk and sing during dinner. It keeps them happy. We never want to ...
On The Border so so food by scotdoglinda ,Apr 02 '07
Pros: fish taco was best but still, so so in taste. Nice deco inside. Great service Cons: food tasted the same. Not much different in taste of the different sauces.
Bought $200. worth of coupons before Christmas. Was not told I had to use the bonus coupons first and there was a deadline for their use. I just put all of them in my purse and pulled some out when I needed them. When I got to the bonus coupons our waiter explained to us that we had to use them before Feb 28 of this year. Guess I should have checked all the coupons out when I got them. So we are out the $40.00 bonus coupons.
We found the food to be so so. The fish taco was the best item on menu and even though it was the best item on menu I have tasted much better. I will use the rest of my coupons but after that I don't think I would waste my time going back to so, so food when there are lots of Mexican restaurants much better. It is decorated with nice flair but had hard time concentrating because of all the noise. Waiter was nice and the food arrived fast and looked good.

Pros: None Cons: Pretty much the whole dining experience.
My family and I have tried this restaurant 4 times and have never had a positive experience. The food is comparable to a frozen entree, staff have been less than helpful and it is over priced. This restaurant in OKC when it first opened was very good. We have only eaten at the one in OKC one time and since it was good figured it would be good here too. It wasn't. I would not ever recommend it. We kept trying to give them the benefit of the doubt by trying it several times and at different times of the day. Still, it only slightly improved, but not enough to recommend it.
