The best value under $500
by redbeardtoo ,Mar 05 '06
Pros: Tons of features. Cons: Won't support low impedance speakers.
I just bought this from Circuit City after my 20 year old receiver died. I was considering a couple other receivers from Denon and Pioneer, but the $50 rebate and $15 discount were too good to resist. The setup was a bit complicated, but the manual is clear and thorough. The number of features and listening options is amazing. I'm playing it through a pair of Infinity 160 speakers, and they have never sounded better. The receiver's only weaknesses are the sort of features you would find on much more expensive models, so I have no complaints. Thanks to CC for a great deal.
