Simple and efficient

Pros: Quiet and more reliable due to simplicity. Cons: Slightly lower heat output (800 watts Vs 1200 watts on the larger units).
I purchased two of these after my two other quartz heaters failed. The advantage this unit has over others is simplicity. There are no fans and no complex circuitry to ultimately fail. The units are dead quiet. They do not throw as much heat as the larger Holmes units but are satisfactory for most intended uses. There are two choices of heat output, 800 watts or 400 watts.
