Pros: Clean Fresh Air
Cons: Could be quieter

I have had this product for about 6 months now. It does a good job at cleaning the air. When I do not have it on, I can tell. The room get very dusty very quickly. I use it non stop to filter my bedroom air, and it is holding up great. I also use it to quickly remove cooking odors (and other odors) from the house.

It is pretty quiet on the low setting but the higher settings are too loud (you definitely know it is running). The ozone makes no difference at all to me in the freshness of the air. I also have another Oreck Air Filter without Ozone - so I can compare the two and they both work the same in my opinion.

This is a good little machine. Oreck Air Filters hold up well. I still have my very first one that I got about 4 years ago and I run them all non stop!

Pros:  price wasn't bad for a 2-stage purifier.
Cons: Replaceable carbon filters are expensive . The lifetime warranty is pro- rated. NO HEPA!

I would not recommend Oreck ...I had an oreck air purifier and the motor went after several months (also made a zapping sound.. that can't be good) . Trying to return it and i discovered their "pro-rated" lifetime warranty - which means you have to pay something to have it fixed or replaced....so I sold it on Ebay. for less money bought something called an alive air machine. Never heard of them and was a bit leary of no-name, but the guys were nice, price was great and it's 5x better. 9 technologies including HEPA and UV for $299 at their site

i did more researchj and w/o a HEPA filter forget about Oreck helping with dust and pollen. It doesn't.  When you wash it off there is little dust and pollen, just black soot for cars and trucks...

Avoid the infomercial brands.. ripoff
