Origins Lip Remedy

Pros: Smooths lips for easy application of lipsticks and glosses.
Cons: Costly for some. $11.00 a tube is hardly a bargain.

Scaly dry lips don't look good in lipstick. You just can't dress up neglected lips. (Personally, I think that's one of the reasons why fish haven't got themselves wrapped up in the whole lipstick and gloss craze.)

Cons: $11 for .17 oz tube. Addictive- you must use many times a day. No results.

I have an obsession with lip balms, mainly because my lips are always dry. In the winter, my lips seem to crack more often and I need more moisture. I tried Origins Lip Remedy, because after all, the name of it should say it all: "Lip Remedy: Kiss ...

Pros: Pleasing, tingling sensation for your lips, some nourishing and softening
Cons: Too pricey for results that are not long-lasting

Wearing this product is pleasing; it always made my lips tingle, and I felt like it was softening my lips a bit. However, it's something you must continually use; it's an on-going treatment that leaves you back at square one if you cease to use it. (At least that was my experience.) Considering the price of the product, I expected miracles and long lasting results, but all I really got was not much more than what I would have found at my local convenience store, sadly.

I absolutely adore Origins products, but this is one that I did not buy again.

Cons: price is higher than most other balms

My lips have been very dry lately due to the winter weather so I decided to try Origins Lip Remedy. After applying the lip remedy, my lips were soft, smooth and hydrated. I was excited to see that these results were actually lasting longer than 30 minutes like some other lip balms. However, 4 hours later, the dryness slowly started comming back.

Overall, the Origins Lip remedy does soothe as it says and will keep your lips hydrated slightly longer than others. However, I do not feel that it is the best product. I think I will keep searching for another remedy.
