Pros: It does exfoliate and smooth the skin nicely, lasts a long time Cons: Oily and smelly and overpriced
Summary: It's not too likely that I would have ever purchased Origins Salt Rub on my own. But common sense marketing by a department store and my daughter's urgings pushed me over the edge.
We used the ladies' lounge one day at a local department ... read more

Pros: leaves skin smooth and lightly scented Cons: not as moisturizing as I expected
Summary: After reading the rave reviews of this product on epinions I decided I really had to try it. I wasn't about to shell out $30 for a full 21 oz. jar on something I have never tried however, and so I asked the wonderful lady at Origins for a sample. The ... read more

Pros: natural exfoliation and moisture all in one Cons: too expensive, can sting tender skin
Summary: Origins ® Salt Rub is one of my favorite bath indulgences! It is almost frustratingly simple, if used with the proper precautions. The product is essentially a mixture of coarse sea salt and lots of oils. However, it is amazingly effective in ... read more

Pros: No animal testing, nice ingredients, no chemicals in this product. Cons: It didn't work for me.
Summary: I must be missing something here in spite of attempting to use Origins Salt Rub several times. I finally gave up. I too (as do other reviewers) have the generous 2.4-ounce sample that I am reviewing.
I will tell you about the ... read more

Pros: Pros, pros, and more pros. You have to try this stuff for yourself!! Cons: Okay, it's a little pricey, but worth every penny!!!
Summary: Legend has it that Aphrodite, the goddess of love, could reclaim her lost maidenhood by taking a dip in the ocean, emerging fresh and dewy, skin aglow with the rosy flush of youth. While Origins Salt Rub can't make you young again, it can fool anyone ... read more

Pros: very moisturising, leaves your skin silky smooth, lasts a long time Cons: not great for sensitive or freshly shaven legs
Summary: I have read many wonderful things about the Origins Salt Rub, and finally broke down and bought it. If you think $28 is a lot to spend on a bath product, think again about this! This product lasts for a very long time, as you do not have to use too much ... read more

Pros: Wonderful scent; very effective; truly luxurious; long-lasting. Cons: Cumbersome container; makes shower slippery.

Pros: Smells fantastic, looks good in the bathroom Cons: Leaves oily residue on skin and shower surface, not for sensitive skin
Summary: I loved the look and smell of this stuff, heard great things about it in magazines and on tv, so I thought I'd temporarily depart from my Clinique Body Sloughing Cream and try this. Bad move. I used it once, then returned it for a refund.
