Pros: Powerful blender. Useful attachments. Looks classy. Cons: Somewhat noisy and expensive. Two speeds might not suffice for some.
Christmas 2006 has come and gone. My husband Bill and I customarily buy presents for our house as well as for each other. I was getting tired of the crappy $20 Hamilton-Beach blender I had bought back before I went off to graduate school and felt we ...
Pros: Love the attachments, awesome motor, awesome power! Big bang for the buck Cons: For the 1st time I can say nonnnnnnnnnnnnnne! Nada!
I bought this blender at the ending of 2006; the motor is a steel motor as opposed to a plastic motor. While all other motors die in a few years this motor retains its power for a long time. Also the motor is shielded by a steel protector there fore ...
Pros: Versatile, convenient, fast, and easy to clean. Cons: The blender is loud; however this is MINOR compared to all the pluses.
I use Oster's Beehive Blender and attachments almost everyday because of its quality, versatility, ease, and convenience. This is my 2nd Oster Blender in 30 years. I gave our daughter my 1st Oster Blender when she went off to college 4 years ago. ...
I waded through a myriad of blender reviews before settling on the Oster 6-in-1 Stainless Steel Blender. We used to have a vintage Oster beehive blender from the 1960s, so I knew that it was a brand with a good reputation. The biggest appeal of the ...
Does not perform well enough to justify price by andjham ,Jan 08 '04
Pros: attractive, comes with desirable tools Cons: durability for the price
I have owned this blender for 2 years, and up to this point, have been very pleased with it. Recently, my blender ceased working. Unfortunately, this $100 blender is only covered by a one year warranty, and the price to replace the broken part is not worth the hassle. It makes more sense to me to buy a less expensive blender with the expectation of replacing it - or to purchase a blender with a more desirable warranty, and superior functionality.
Pros: 550 watts; glass and stainless steel cups included; classy design; great value with accessories included Cons: Food processor attachment, Mini-Blend jar are plastic; milkshake blade less durable than regular blade
I was given this blender for Mother's Day 2 years ago to replace the Oster blender my husband and I have had since we got married 35 years ago. That alone should be testament to this company's durability! I have been extremely pleased with this blender and all of the attachments that come along with it that I feel justify the $80 sales price. Everything from smoothies and milkshakes to pâté have been made in this blender and cleanup was very easy (put the blender cup in the dishwasher - wash the blade by hand - wipe down any spills on counter and blender). This product would also be great for a young person just getting out on their own or newlyweds as well.
This blender does it all. I have used all the attachments and love it. It is powerful so watch out. I chopped green and red peppers in the food processer. I hit it on high and it turned them into a soup!!!! It is loud. What blender isn't? The ice blade is great. Bought this for my wife who was complaining that her old blender could not chop ice for a margherita-well no problem here. The other blade is great. Great milk shakes and smoothies. The mini chopping jar is nice. Make a little dressing, switch the balde out for the lid and away you go. The connection between the motor and the blade is all metal-no plastic-very sturdy. It should last a lifetime.
