OtterBox Defender Case for Apple iPhone, Black/Black

Pros: Excellent design, good value, well-built, functional
Cons: Loss of docking, oil slicking on screen (easily remidied)

While I love the iphone, including its sleek, sexy body and wide screen, it is simply too expensive and fragile to go around naked.  There are no repair/damage contracts available for iphones, only extended warranty to cover the battery/internal ...

Pros: Looks cool, reasonable price, great protective features.
Cons: No way to make it fit.

Are you kidding me?!!! Bought this - looks great - should do just what I want, but it's too small.  The iPhone 3G is curved where the case is flat and there is just no way to snap the plastic case shut.  A buddy tried it on his iPhone 3G also - same result.  Maybe they need to be reminded: measure twice, fabricate once.

Pros: Protects the phone very well.  Keeps out dirt and water.
Cons: Very Bulky
Belt Clip is worthless.  Does not lock the phone in well or easily. 

The OtterBox protects very well, but is a bit bulky.  The big issue is the belt clip.  The phone does not always easily slip into the belt clip and properly lock in place.  this causes the phone to fall out easily and often and even when locked in, it falls out often, getting in and out of the car.  I actually lost my phone last night, but a nice person found it and got it back to me.  I didn't even know the phone slipped out of the clip! For a carry feature, this is no good.  I rate it 1 star.  For protection, 4 stars.

Pros: seems to be solid protection
Cons: screen bubbles, falls out of clip, car charger port too small

Too pricy for the ONE layer (not 3) of protective covering.  Major issues:  (1) comes out of the belt clip too easy, (2) "bubbly" look as the clear screen contacts the IPhone screen, and (3) car charger sold on the IPhone site does not fit when this case is on the phone.
