Pros: Extremely comfortable to use, dried instantly, retractable tip, nice design. Cons: The whole Gel Ink misnomer.
I came across the Pilot G2 series of pens at Wal-Mart when I was looking for a replacement ink cartridge for my silver Parker roller ball pen. This pen has been with me for about ten years and seems to be the only one that Ive managed to ...
Pros: Nice gel ink, only moderate ink drain, not as expensive as many gel pens Cons: Occasional skips, smears, bleeding
It's been many many months since I've written a review, but now I'm gonna get back into the swing of things with my review of the Pilot G2 Retractable pens. These pens use refillable gel ink (and shockingly, you can actually FIND the darn refills in ...
Pros: Pen envy, smooth, never watered down writing ability, sleek and sexy design Cons: Pen envy leads to pen thieves. Watch out!
From the smooth shaft to the rubberized grip, this pen has it all. My review will cover the design, the highs, the lows, and of course, the skinny. My experience has been with the Pilot G2-07 (They make the best pens $1.50 can buy!), which is a medium ...
Pros: Flawless writing, clip, grip, see-through, red ink is my favorite Cons: Nothing!
Here's the one sentence version of the review: Pilot G2 pens are possibly the best pens I've used in some time. I came across these at Walgreens. I was needing red pens a few days ago since the only red I had was the Pilot Easytouch (terrible, choppy and ...
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Inexpensive, Great Performing Pen Cons: Occasional Ink Build-ups, Dark Ink Shows through thin paper
As a young College Student it is obvious that I have need for a high quality writing utensil and I feel like that is just what I get with my Pilot G2 Retractable Gel Ink Pen. We all know that it seems impossible to find the perfectly infallible pen, but ...
Pros: Smooth, sharp, bold ink flow, easy on hand, retractable, refillable...it's the best! Cons: I'm not! This really IS one of the best, and it's less than $2!
The tradition at our annual departmental Christmas party is to give pens to each other. Two years ago amidst the $3, $5, and $10 pens, I gave my co-workers a 0.7mm (medium) Pilot Gel Ink G2 and another more expensive gel ink pen so as not to look too ...
Pros: Smooth Flow, Multi-Colors, Comfortable, Etc. Cons: Somewhat Expensive, Can Leak
I am a writer...well not really, but I write alot. I am always searching for the perfect pen. All pens have problems, the balls fall out, they leak, they are too thick, they are too thin, etc. The Pilot G-2 solves these common pen problems, and takes ...
Pros: Even, smooth line; sturdy, trouble-free design; inexpensive compared to other gel pens. Cons: Ink doesn't last as long as other pens; tends to make me write sloppily.
I like to write. At work, I have to write nearly as much as I have to type, which is about 2-3 hours per day. So, I've gotten pretty familiar with the Pilot G2, since about 15 of them (conservatively) have crossed my desk full and left empty. I've ...
Pros: Best pen I have ever had, writes perfect and smooth. Cons: Hard to find, not in all Wal-Marts, et.
Darn tootin! This pen is awesome! My wife has washed it three times and it still works great and did not leak on my wet cloths. Of course she had a chewing out coming for not checking a mans pockets, lol.
Pros: It flows on so smoothly that it actually improved my handwriting. Cons: The clasp failed on almost all of them.
I have used the pen since it came out, the Pilot G2 07 and it is all I ever want to carry, But. The clasp has broken on each one before the ink ran out! This is the only thing I would complain about and I can live with no clasp, however it looks damaged.
Pros: smooth ink flow. Exceptional ergonomics. Auto-retract feature is awesome. Cons: Ink dries a little slow.
The Pilot G2 made my hair fuller, I spontaneously developed a golden tan, and my sales went up a full 10% since it's ink is so mesmerizing. Not at all true, of course, but without question the finest pen I've ever used. How do I know? Cause it's the only pen I've had to consistently replace cause my clients walk out with them.
Pros: sturdy barrel and clip. strong metal tip that produces gel flow. Cons: doesn't have a unique look (your average pen, tons of people have them)
The G2 pen gives you the sturdiness and flow of a nice gel pen. There is obvious reason why it's the best selling gel pen in the US. It's not as precise as the Pilot Hi-Tec-C which comes in .25, .3, .4 and .5mm sizes, or the Uniball DX .28 pen, but the G2 .38 size isn't bad. I personally only buy my pens online, like in stores like www.jetpens.com or in person in Japanese boutiques like Maido or Kunikuniya in SF. This is because the sizes that I like are only offered in those stores. The .5 and 1.0 sizes are available in Office Depot or other places, but they're not as good for precise note taking or for drawing.
G2 Leaking in Humidity?? by bigpizza713 ,Aug 09 '06
Pros: Best Pen I've ever used!! Cons: Recent problem with leakage in High Humidity!!
Let me say right up front " I LOVE THE G2". I am a salesman and have never used a pen I like more than the G2.
I have actually "lost" more G2s after the paperwork is signed than any other pen I've ever used. They just seem to "float" into the customer's pockets, never to be seen again!! I constantly get comments like " WOW!! That's the smoothest pen I've ever written with"
Having said that I have recently had a problem in the heat and high humidity. I often do business where the customers are...in the field, yard, parking lot, wherever, and often am out in the heat and humidity. In the last month I have had the G2 leak ink into my shirt pocket. Has anyone else found the same thing or did I just hit a batch of defective pens???
