Pros: Great Performance Cons: Pricey
This review may not be as in-depth as would be expected by the Techno oriented people out there but i'll do my best. This card was actually included with an Alienware P4 2.2 Ghz. that I purchased earlier this year. I actually had to wait for the...

Pros: Ultra Fast, Great Effects, Good Price!! Cons: Much Faster Video cards for around the same price.
Recently Nvidia has been the big dogs in the video card market after the fall of 3DFX. They have produced amazing video cards and currently their best consumer card and at one point the best consumer card on the market is the Geforce 4 ti 4600. It has...

Failed at 37 months. Service poor.
by zawalis ,Dec 05 '05
Pros: PROS: PNY is certainly ahead of the game on design Cons: CONS: This card failed after 37 months of light service.
PROS: PNY is certainly ahead of the game on design
CONS: Card similar to this failed after 37 months of light service. PNY did NOT honor the 36 month warranty and $260 card was known to be at fault.
Thoughts: It's disappointing to me that a large, cutting edge company like this will resort to such poor customer service. They forced me to post a review to warn others of their suspect quality. I waited 17 minutes to speak with them.

PNY Verto warranty problem
by busyman94 ,Oct 31 '03
Pros: Produces good-looking graphics while it works. Cons: Terrible customer service and deceptive warranty.
Much shorter life span than normal
I bought a PNY Verto TI GeForce AGP graphics card from CompUSA a year and 2 months ago and paid $189.99 plus tax for it. I am an online gamer. Worked well, loved the graphics it produced until last week when it just died while doing some word processing. TROUBLE! Tried rebooting. My Athlon XP 2100 on Soyo Dragon Ultra would not boot--black screen. I put a different graphics card in the system and the system worked perfectly. Put the PNY graphics card in a different system and that system would not boot either. The card was DEAD.
Problem: Then I discovered that the "Lifetime Replacement Warranty" is only good till PNY quits producing that product for the market--about a year if you are lucky.
Interesting Note: If you buy the same PNY Verto graphics cardss in Europe, you get a 5-year replacement warranty--no fine print. My guess is that in Europe,PNY could not get away with this "Lifetime Replacement Warranty" that isn't.

Exellent card and was cheaper than any other ti4600 at the time of purchase although it only had the basic svideo out it still had everything that made it a 4600. personally have a 4200 x8 agp also and when i replaced the 4200 x8 with the 4600 4x the 3d benchmark increased from 8200 to 12772 on my system(lots more fps)

The Ti 4600 was not quite as expensive as expected. Installed flawlessly with XP. Didn't even stress the capabilities of the card with any current software i possesed. Highly recomened if you can find it for a sane price.

I must admit its daunting...
by gavin_dt3000 ,Dec 30 '02
I must admit its daunting buying a new graphics card for your PC. If you love your games then a GeForce4 Ti4600 is highly recommended. This card from PNY handles all games quite easily with its 128mb of memory. With this card its quite possible to pick it up for as little as £200.00. Since I've installed this card I've had little trouble, so for £200 its money well spent. One word of advise to you is shop around first to find one that suits your needs and pocket. With this card you could do a lot worse.
