Pros: feather light, no wires, clear sound, same charger for the Treo 650, 700, 750 Cons: can become loose on the ear, doesn't turn off when not in use
I used to love making fun of people who seemed to be talking to themselves in public. Without the wires and the phone tucked into my jacket or briefcase, I'm that guy now. Unless you spot the 007-type ear piece in my ear, you'd think I was a bit loony ...
Pros: Small, lightweight, easy to use, excellent voice quality. Cons: Can slide off or shift on ear with sharp head movement.
There are a number of Bluetooth headsets on the market these days made by different manufactures such as Nokia, Sony, Logitech, Motorolla, Plantronics and others. I wasn't sure which one was the best and frankly, they all look kinda goofy IMHO! But ...
Pros: Lightweight and comfortable enough, matches Treo, uses Treo power adapter Cons: Call quality with Treo, operational quirks
I pair my headset with a Verizon Treo 650, using Verizon's 1.04 firmware. Form The Treo headset fits easily into the palm of your hand. It has three buttons and a swivel/adjustable earpiece so that you can wear it on the right or left ear. ...
Pros: Same charger as Treo; so light you hardly feel it Cons: On/off difficult; insufficient volume; unpredictable connection; no locator feature
After reading the excellent review by criteeker I chose the PalmOne's Treo 650 Bluetooth Headset in large part because it uses the same charger as my phone. In the two months I've had it now I can report that the thing is pretty darn cool. I use it ...
Pros: Quality, clarity, light weight, volume, instant connection. Cons: That I didn't find it sooner.
I went through 2 Motorola bluetooths and a Scala 500 before trying this one. All I can say is...FINALLY! At first, I thought everything about it was perfect except for the ear piece. It would flop around on my ear when making quick head turns to check ...
Pros: Charger will charge your Treo too Cons: Everything else
For Treo 650 Verizon users (and other interested parties) You have no reason to believe me I don't believe half the crap I read here by frustrated users to lazy to read their manuals. But just let me say this:Treo wireless headset doesn't stay on ...
Pros: Light, quick auto connect, good voice quality Cons: could fit a little more snugly on the ear
I spent several months with another headset, (rhymes with dabra) and was very unhappy. The device hardly ever connected to my 650 and I always had to hit the button to answer and dialing was a multi-step process. Did a lot of research and narrowed down ...
I would look for a better solution - This thing sucks by skrome ,Aug 23 '09
Pros: Looks cool Cons: Very low volume. Disconnects from TREO for no reason.
Although the concept is outstanding, wireless headset ease of use hands free and all that, using this Treo bluetooth headset with my TREO 650 has been more of a pain in the butt. It barely stays on the ear, it is very low volume and is impossible to hear in airports, traffic, cars with windows open and anywhere that is not indoors and controlled quiet.
Worse than that, it seems to disconnect from the phone for no reason at various times. This requires me to Rediscover the headset using TREO's bluetooth app each time. A real feat while driving.
I called TREO, I called PALM, I called Verizon with no response. Each one pointing the finger at the other. Then I emailed Palm that did bring a respone. "Reboot" the headset.
Well for $80 bucks, I am about to find a better headset. If you are looking to but this TREO bluetooth headset, I would suggest that you look for another brand.
