Pros: Great design, fast OS system, "Wow" factor Cons: A little expensive
I had a difficult time trying to decide on the compaq pocket PC or the new Palm M505. After trying both, I chose the M505. The Palm OS 4 is much faster to navigate through, I feel extremely well organized, the Pocket windows software seemed to hang up...

Pros: Great look, easy to carry around, lovely color Cons: Doesn't come with computer compatible programs like word or excel.
The Palm m505 is an awesome add-on to the Palm family. I own one and I love it. The colors are rich and the layout makes it easy to find everything you need. Files can be transferred from this to your computer and vice versa which makes planning...

Pros: Size, scalability, battery life, price, Sleek look
Way cheaper than 515 or Pocket PC Cons: Screen could have adjustable brightness
Basic colors are a bit washed out
What makes me interesting is that I originally had a pocket PC (Jornada 525) and decided to give Palm a try. I had to have color but was turned off by the price of the 515 and didn't like the IIIc or M130. Ounce for ounce the M505 is the best value in...

Pros: Small, stylish form factor; long battery life; expansion capabilities; USB cradle included; bonus software Cons: screen just a little dim but not bad
I, myself, am a IIIc user and upon hearing of a SMALLER, shinier Palm in COLOR, I was very excited. Additionally, 8 MB on my IIIc was reaching the point of insufficiency so the SD/MMC card expansion of the m505 was even more tempting for me.

Pros: Size, style, ease of use Cons: Not as many features as iPaq
I purchased a Palm m505 approximately six months ago as a replacement for my old Palm III. Since I wanted to see how well it would stand an abbreviated test of time, I held off on writing a review until I had a chance to see what Handspring, Compaq et...

Pros: Great form factor, good expansion and color, ergonomic.
Cons: No brightness control, minor difficulty with expansion card, delicate hotsync connection.
My days using a Handspring Visor Deluxe are coming to an end, thanks to my testing of this precious PDA.
I've got to say up front that this PDA is about as good as it gets in the Palm OS flavors. And although I do have some minor concerns...

Pros: Small size, sleek design, SD/MMC slot, MAC friendly. Cons: Pricey, not enough add-ons availible yet.
I am a long time user of systems that use the Palm OS. My first Palm was the Palm IIIe and though I loved it, a fall from my bed shattered the screen rendering it useless. I then moved on to the Handspring Deluxe, which I also enjoyed. I kept that for...

Pros: Slim; Palm OS; Reliable; Cool-looking; Mac Friendly Cons: Screen could be brighter; Need more memory; Not compatible with Palm V accessories
This is probably my 3rd Palm Pilot. And my nth PDA.
This Palm Pilot has everything you need. And the fact that it has an expandable slot, it opens the possibility for more features. The biggest dilemma for me is finding a truly USEFUL...

Pros: USB Cradle, Color Screen, Expansion Slots, Sleek and Small. Cons: Price of $449.
I finally broke down and bought a Palm after much debate (with myself) about whether I really needed one. I have a desktop AND a laptop already after all. Now that I’ve done it, I think, “Who cares if I really need it or not… I love having it and it...

Pros: Screen darn it! Size. Color. Expansion. Price darn it! Cons: Requires you to be relatively smart to make it work properly.
I have to explain my title of course. This review is not to give you a complete run-down of the m505, as there are countless others that do good all-in-one reviews. No, no, no. This review is only to explain why I believe some of the things hated about...

Pros: Expansion Slot, Reasonably Priced Color, Updated Palm OS, New Apps Cons: Needs An Enhanced, Brighter Color Screen Without Sacrificing Battery Life
Through retail sources I’ve had the opportunity to use the new Palm m500 and m505 the past couple of weeks in advance of general distribution. The m505 is scheduled for retail sale starting in May while the Palm m500 is on a slightly earlier schedule on...

Pros: Light powerful, easy to learn to use.
Great apps to use for lots of things. Cons: Screen not a pretty as Ipaq/sony styles.
Let me say first I am new to PDAs so this epinion is one of a novice. I don't think you have to be a technojunkie however to make a worthwhile epinion. Take a look at the help at compusa. If it were up to them to help me make the choice, I would still be...

Pros: Small, easy to use Cons: Build quality issues, doesn't fit in cradle well
Despite the negative buzz don't avoid this Palm because of the screen! While it's not great for viewing pictures or video (who really NEEDS to do that?) the colour screen makes it much easier to work with spreadsheets and other apps! It's even good...

Pros: Portability, does the job it's supposed to do Cons: Color screen probably not the best
I have had my Palm m505 for about 3 years (since Christmas 2001) and I still use it and enjoy it. Back then the price was around $400, and I imagine that it's much lower now that newer models are out. The greatest thing about the m505 is its small ...

Pros: Small size, Easy of use, Color screen, Lots of software Cons: Dim Color screen, small screen
I have purchased many Pda's over the last six years and have come to the conclusion that for everyday use the Palm OS is the simplist to use. With the Palm M505 you do not need to read the manual to use it and it is quick and easy to learn.
The M505...
