Palm Pre is the Smartphone of 2009 by kushkm ,Nov 07 '09
Pros: Unique keyboard, Universal Search, Push Email, Multi-touch Screen, Nice Form Factor, Multitasking Cons: Battery Life (get an extended battery), only on Sprint
There is no other phone released in 2009 that can compare to the Palm Pre. Out of the box, the Palm Pre can do more than other smartphone on the market: Blackberry, iPhone or Android.
The Palm Pre has a sliding keyboard which nicely hidden, and very effective. The proximity sensor is really cool, I didn't know about it before I got the phone. The screen turns off when it is next to your face. The Pre also is great at multitasking many applications, I use it to keep the weather app, email, music app, text messaging app, and a webpage open at one time. Another addicitive feature is the universal search, you type anything and it searches the phone, or allows you to search the web. This is something really addicitive, and will make it hard for anyone to switch to another phone after using this feature.
