A good, versatile unit but cranky with Outlook

by apowell , May 23 '08
Pros: Excellent sensitivity, many functions, well made.
Cons: Often very slow to respond to touch screen, finally stopped syncing with Outlook.
I used a Treo 755p for about 11 months. I opted for the Palm version because I've used Palm software and PDAs for almost 10 years, and although I'm quite PC-centric, I really like the Palm OS. I didn't want a Windows mobile unit, and this was my fourth ...

Combines a cell phone and Palm PDA, camera, and mp3 player. Handy

by dnhoshor , May 30 '08
Pros: Lots of tools in one package.
Cons: The Palm OS is getting dated, but there are tons of programs for it.
I bought the Palm Treo 755p from my cell service provider (Alltel) a month ago, and I've found it useful. I've used a Palm PDA from the first days of the Palm Pilot so I felt comfortable choosing the another device that uses the Palm Operating System. ...

An excellent upgrade!

by mktgwhiz , Jun 10 '07
Pros: "Push" email; lots of storage space; improved ergonomics (no external antenna); fast Internet download speeds.
Cons: Battery life is just okay; phone volume isn't very loud (still); no Wi-Fi; flimsy stylus.
I recently purchased the Treo 755P after using my Treo 650 on the Sprint network for more than 2 years. I was a bit reluctant to upgrade; would it be worth it? The short answer is yes, definitely! Here are the plusses and minuses: Biggest ...

The phone that's best for me

by Chick128 , Feb 23 '09
Pros: Phone, planner, pictures, web... It has everything I need
Cons: some glitches in the system
I needed a new phone and I needed an organizer.  I was looking at buying a palm because pen and paper planners haven't been keeping up or lasting with me and then I found out there were phones that had planners. When I bought this last year ...

Sprint's best Treo

by rwavrik , Feb 17 '08
Pros: Palm OS, Battery Life
Cons: Bulky
Sprint smart phone users are really limited in their selection. Sprint offers the 700w, 755p and the Centro. If you are wanting a Palm OS based phone then you are limited to the 755p or Centro. The question you have to ask which Palm OS based ...

I love my 755p (w/ Palm OS)

by kris5449 , Jun 14 '08
Pros: Great programs, touch screen, fast internet, durable unit, loud enough.
Cons: Cant be shut off. VERY FLIMSY power connection. Hard to find accessory from non-internet stores.
Hey there. I bought my 755p in January of 2008 and whole heartedly love it. It's not with out it's flaws, but seldom is anything. I started out as a Blackberry user, but when it came time to upgrade, i couldn't sidestep the touchscreen/stylis ...

I LOVE MY TREO!

by epinionated945 , Dec 08 '08
Pros: Great signal, battery life, and capabilities.
Cons: Wish I didn't have to take the battery out to reset the phone
I have NEVER reviewed a product before but have felt moved to gush by the Palm Treo 755p. This phone is awesome. I would never call myself a technophobe but I definitely don't see the point in useless gadgets...the Palm Treo 755p is FAR FROM ...

Hated It.
by ronandlane ,Jan 25 '09
Pros: Good for people with Pretzel Stick Size Fingers and 20/20 Vision
Cons: Tiny Querty Keyboard
Unable to enter data with a stylus on the touch screen.
I love Palm products and have been using my Palm T/X for over 3 years, so I figured lets try the Palm 755P Smartphone which would combine my Sprint Phone and my Palm Applications in one unit.
I returned the unit after 24 hours because it failed to live up to my expectations.
#1. The Keyboard is for people with fingers the size of Pretzel Sticks and 20/20 vision.
#2. I was accustomed to my touch screen keyboard on my T/X. THe Palm 755P forces one to enter all information using the Querty Keyboard for people who have fingers the size of Pretzel Sticks.
#3. The device is way too Heavy for my taste.

Do yourself a big favor, don't go with Sprint
by gil8402 ,Feb 13 '09
Pros: All in one!
Cons: Sprint customer service
Avoid Sprint with this phone!!! I signed up for the Treo 755 smart phone in December 08, it was pretty but display was too small for me, so I took the phone back after 5 days & 1 20 second phone call. I got the credit back right away for the phone, but a month later Sprint sends me a bill for $65 for one month's usage - which I was able to get reduced to $28 - which I now have the privilige of paying for having the phone for 5 days and 1 20 second phone call. And when 4 days passed & I hadn't paid the bill, Sprint was calling me 8 times a day to ask me why I hadn't paid. I will NEVER EVER buy Sprint again...

If I can do any good in this world, it would be that I at least saved ONE person from enjoying the wonderful customer service that Sprint provides. Good luck to all and Sprint can kiss my butt.
