WONDERFUL product, I have a lot of pampered chef in my kitchen and this one is awesome! Not just for apples, can be used to make curly fries etc, makes short work of an apple pie or apple crisp!

I bake apple strudel and apple pancakes almost weekly ad I hate to peel apples. My daughter cooked apple pie in preschool and was excited that she was allowed to peel the apples. I thought she used a knife and talked to her teacher who introduced me to the pampered chef. I loved it and got 2 on ebay one for me and for my grandma who laso bakes a lot of appple strudels. With this machine the strudel is done within minutes and even ym kids can peel the apples with it. I only have to get the apples on the machine! But the apples have to be hard and sometimes I miss the center.
we also use it to make potato chips, where you only can use hard small round potatos, but my kits love the thin slices only this machine can make.

Unfortunately it is hard to clean and even if I use the wooden block i have to hold it for my kids otherwise the whole block would move with every turn. Still I would buy it againand highly recommend it.
