The Crinkle Cutter was my first ever purchase from Pampered Chef. Over four years and too many kitchen gadgets to count later, it's still one of my favorite kitchen tools.

Yes, it makes the vegetables pretty with the crinkle cut edges. Appealing for the kids and they will eat them this way, but that's not all. Use it to cut their sandwiches for a something a little different.

It makes cutting big or hard vegetables and fruit easy, like turnip's, potatoes, watermelon etc, because your weight is centered over the blade. It gives a decorative touch to everything it touches, like fudge, rolled cookie dough etc.

I've used it to chop lettuce and it doesn't turn it brown.

As if all of that wasn't good enough, the Crinkle Cutter is the only tool I've found that will cut through an ice cream cake with ease. Even if you need it just once a year for that purpose, it's worth buying. But trust me, you'll find many more uses.
