Pros: Perfect size for use in every kitchen Cons: None
Note: This bowl is label 'b' in the above picture.
The standard for mixing bowls seems to be from a company named Pyrex. I know this because I see them everywhere I go, including my mom's home and my own! In fact, I own 3 sizes...
Not being a big fan of gadgets for my kitchen, when I went to a Pampered Chef party, I did see a couple of things that I felt would serve me well in my kitchen. I have already written a review on the “Pizza Stone”, which I do not like, but in all...
Pros: You can mix, reheat, store leftovers and even bake with this bowl! Cons: It is made out of glass and could break if dropped.
As I have proclaimed before in many of my reviews in the Home & Garden category here at Epinions, I am a kitchen gadget junkie. Yes, I admit that during the years I have accumulated more kitchen gadgets than one really (truly) needs. But hey, I figure...
Pros: Multi purpose bowl, you can mix, store and bake wonderful cakes. Cons: Heavy
Many, many years ago before I'd ever heard of Pampered Chef I was at a marvelous Estate Sale. This was a wonderful old landmark Sandstone Colonial home and everything in the house was for sale. I wandered through the kitchen and saw this great heavy old ...
Pros: Durable, Tough to break Cons: Hard to use for goodness sake!
A Swing and Amiss I've never been one to "wing it" in the kitchen, truth be told I actually dislike kitchens (unless they belong to someone else). After 28 years it pains me to say: I am NOT a chef. I'll never qualify as a chef, I ...
Pros: Measuring, mixing, heating and storing in one bowl. Great pouring spout and lid. Cons: Heavy. Could have a better handle.
We are cooking and baking fanatics. My wife loves to bake big batches of cookies, pies or cakes. Both of us love to cook. We sometimes cook together on the weekends making big meals that we either share with our parents or eat for days as leftovers. We ...
As I start looking around my kitchen, I realize that even though I don't generally care for Pampered Chef products as a rule, I seem to have accumulated an awful lot of them. One of the products I've been most pleased with is the Pampered Chef ...
Pros: High quality Cons: Heavier than other brands, markings hard to read, drip when using thinner liquids
I am a fairly big fan of Pampered Chef products, but this one has been a bit of a disappointment. I have both size of batter bowl as pictured (A & B). While they certainly are functional, there are a few things that could be improved. First, the ...
Pros: mixing Cons: boiling, storing, lids warp, heavy
The bowl is useful except when you need to store things in it. The lids warp over time and they become useless. I like to bowl itself and is handy when you have to mix stuff, but when you are boiling liquids it takes such a long time to heat the bowl itself, it seems to take so much longer than my pyrex ones. Also when I have liquids in it, the bowl gets so heavy that my wrists start to hurt and then its almost too hot to hold with 2 hands when I've heated something in it.
