Pros: Light and easy to clean. Cons: Not easy to allign closure of the handle.
I was first invited to a Pampered Chef demostration party over a year ago. I usually try not to show an interest in these parties, but sometimes you just can't say no. I was very fortunate at the last show I was at. After playing the few ...

About a month before my wedding, I attended a Pampered Chef party. Being that I was about to get married, I had my kitchen needs covered, either because we already owned them or would likely get from our registry. Considering we were also paying for a ...

Good for kids and veggies in a hurry by allrenellis ,Mar 20 '07
Pros: Makes great tasting steamed veggies and warms soups well. Cons: The plastic material. Beware of heating plastics and dioxins.
I bought this at a pampered chef party with little expectations but I must say that when I went to steam some broccoli in it, I was thoroughly impressed. I added a little butter and a little bit of water. What a good move. I don't like to use it much because of the plastic material. So, it now sits in my shelf. I may donate it to the Goodwill this year because it really isn't much to write home to mama about.
If it were made with the more sturdy plastic, I would say it would be a keeper but until then, it'll be sitting in the cabinet until I load it up on the wagon train for the Goodwill.
