Pros: Very good fit, lightweight, sufficient absorbency. Cons: Perfumed.
The most consistent parenting advice that I have received is, as soon as a parent thinks they have a routine down with their new baby, the baby will change the routine. This has turned out to be exactly the case with my son's diapers. The hospital ...
I Rarely Think About Diapers For months of my daughter's life, I didn't know or care what brand of diaper I preferred. I reached into the closet where we stored all the diapers brought to my baby showers, pulled out a package in the appropriate ...
Pros: Fit, comfort, all around best product Cons: Price. Pampers is always more expensive than other brands.
I have 2 kids, both girls, current ages of 2 1/2 and 10 months. Of course, like every parent we wanted to use the diapers that worked best with our kids, and if they were also cheaper, that would be even better. Well, what we've consistently found in ...
Pros: 5 star AbsorbAway liner, snug fit on baby and the stretch of the fasteners Cons: expensive price, purfume smell
I have a 10-month old baby that is terror when it comes to diapers; he hates being changed and squirms everywhere. Most diapers start to leak after he crawls and climbs all over my house. My mother in-law is a coupon clipper so she bought us a bunch a ...
Pros: A great diaper for after you use Pampers Swaddlers Cons: They are priced a bit higher than other diapers, but worth it.
After searching around at many stores and finally realizing that Pampers Swaddlers do not really go above Size 2, I came to the determination that I HAD to find something to take it's spot. Pampers Cruisers are a great alternative to the Pampers ...

We had been using Huggies premium diapers for a while when our girl came down with a horrific case of diaper rash. A discussion with a girlfriend rang in my ears, with the comment "huggies for boys, pampers for girls". I took a closer look at my huggies ...
Cost more than other brands, but worth it. by huffy24 ,Jul 18 '07
Pros: No leaks, comfortable fit, nice designs. Cons: Cost.
I have tried to go cheap on diapers and have wasted my money.
Pampers are more expensive, but I think they are worth it for the piece of mind they give me (no leaks) and the comfort they give my daughter (stretchy fit and soft).
This is the only brand I will buy. We did have to buy Pampers Baby Dry diapers for overnight because the Cruisers couldn't hold for 10 hours while my daughter sleeps, but if you are changing your child's diaper every 2-3 hours while awake the Cruisers do just fine.
I also like that they feature Sesame Street characters. I can give my daughter a diaper to hold and look at while I change her which is a great distraction for a squirmy 1 year old. She has started to learn all of the characters names this way.
Cruisers Allow Cruising Minus the Mess of Leaks by saraj001 ,Feb 16 '07
Pros: No leaks; Stretches with child's movements. Cons: Contains perfumes and some other possible irritating ingredients.
The Basics
Custom Fit Cruisers come in a purple, thick-plastic package. There are perforations on one side of the package so you can open the package without having diapers flying everywhere.
The legs of each diaper are soft, elastic bands, which provide comfort, as well as securely holding on the diaper so there are no leaks. This is important, since at this age, your children are most likely walking. Each leg opening moves with the child.
My Experience What I like about Pampers Cruisers
Offers better protection against leaks than other brands I've tried; Despite perfumes, it has never irritated my son's sensitive skin.
What I don't like about Pampers Cruisers
Contains perfumes and some other possible skin irritating ingredients.
I checked directly with Pampers parent company (Procter & Gamble) and Pampers DO contain the following: wood pulp, absorbent gelling material (AGM), petrolatum, stearyl alcohol, aloe, polyethylene and polypropylene (plastics), cellulose tissue, elastic, and perfume.
Cruisers are the best choice ! by jkame001 ,Mar 13 '05
Pros: Comfortable fit, extra coverage to prevent leaks on the back, and overall more absorbent. Cons: Expensive
Our 4 month old baby has always worn Pampers diapers since he was a newborn. I have switched to size 3 diapers even though my son is less than 16 pounds, because the diaper prevents blow out spillage. Though these diapers are more expensive I find that we have less leakage than other brands we sampled. The extra price is worth the comfortable fit for the baby and less mess for me!
Your baby or toddler will love wearing these! by mochagirl ,Oct 10 '05
Pros: Soft to the touch, flexible and stretchy waistband, not lumpy or thick Cons: Price
We have tried Huggies, other Pampers styles, White Cloud, Luvs, Kirkland and some other store brand diapers and Pampers Cruisers are our favorite hands down!
The Huggies and the Kirkland Diapers were both very very lumpy, like the fillings come to pieces - even before the diaper gets wet.
The other Pampers Koala fit diapers didn't stretch at all in the waistband making it tough to fit onto our toddler very well.
The White Cloud were way too thick, but were soft.
The Pampers Cruisers are our favorite because:
- they are very soft to the touch
- never leak
- velcro waist allows for very adjusted fittings around a wriggly toddler
- the stretch aspect at the waist works so well for comfort and ease of putting on
- diapers are generally expensive anyways, best get one that is comfortable and easy to use
If there were anything that we didn't like about these diapers it would be:
- don't like Sesame Street - but who the heck sees them anyway under clothes and of course, who cares!!
- are expensive
- not carried at Costco anymore !! Boo hoo
Pros: No leaks Cons: Slightly more expensive than others in the brand range
When my daughter was born I started off using a different brand of diapers which I was not happy with at all, they are another well know brand but I found my baby was constantly suffering from leaking nappies and even the smallest size did not fit her properly.
I tried this product when I was sent a free sample, since then I have never looked back and would not dream of changing brands. The sides stretch which creates a great fit and I have never had one leak yet. They really are quality.
great fit, stretch with baby by mac4cy ,Mar 10 '07
Pros: stretch, comfortable Cons: expensive, don't come in overnights
These diapers are great for the active baby. They stretch and move much better than the pampers baby dry. The only problem we had was when my daughter would sleep 12 hours a night she could pee through them ( she is a good water drinker). Otherwise we have no complaints.
Absorbent, stretchy, like the purple, dont like Sesame Street by adamsue51525 ,Jun 08 '05
Pros: Thin, stretchy sides, absorbent Cons: Sesame Street characters, tabs can get hard to open
I like that the tabs are really stretchy, they are absorbent and not too thick. I found a Pampers Premium diaper left over from my daughter, from 2002 I guess, it was nearly twice as thick! So they keep getting thinner. Here they are the same price as Huggies, and are better than Huggies. Sure the store brands are cheaper, but the filling is thicker and lumpy, and the sides don't stretch.
We Love Pampers Cruisers!!!! by adkmtngirl ,Sep 06 '06
Pros: stretchy legs & waist, love the style of them. Cons: sesame street characters
While they cost a little more they are so worth it!!! My little guy can't get these off. With other brands he can take them off by pulling on the tabs, and with these he can't. He's only 15 months old so it's pretty scary that he can get his diapers off on his own.
Most costly, but work the best by katburg ,Jun 26 '05
Pros: flexible, soft, and great elastic sides Cons: expensive
This is the only diaper we've found that does not leak. We have a 6 month boy and these fit well and seem the most comfortable for him (especially when sitting up and when he bends over). They are soft and flexible and the elastic sides are perfect - probably why they fit so well, they hug baby's body well and therefore no leaks.
