Pros: Easy set up. Good features for easy use. Clear clean sound. Cons: Nothing noted but will update.
With only one line in the house we decided to go with a wireless telephone system. We purchased by price. We first went for the AT&T Three Handset Answering System was the cheapest at $60. That was a big mistake. We recently had to go out and purchase ...
Pros: Good sound quality, good speakerphone, handy answering machine operation, replaceable NiMH AAA batteries Cons: Can't program ring tones by Caller ID, keypad not backlit
The KX-TG1034S is the 4-handset version of the KX-TG103x series, one of many recent Panasonic multi-handset cordless phone models. Even if you limit your choices to DECT 6.0 models, Panasonic has many to choose from, so an obvious question is what ...
Pros: Great phone quality and feature set. No Wi-Fi interference. Cons: Call Screening - all or nothing. No personalized handset names.
I have always liked Panasonic products - they always seem to be well thought-out and logical to operate. The KX-TG1034 cordless phone is generally along those lines. This is a digital cordless phone with 4 handsets using the new DECT 6.0 technology ...
Pros: Four Phones. Comes with AAA rechargeable batteries. Good quality/Great price. Intercom and Conference Cons: No wall mount on other than base station. Some Menus take a little learning.
Been using for 6 months. What I needed in a phone was No wireless internet interference Conference capability Speakerphone Good Distance capability. Clear Message Machine This phone has met all my expectations. ...
Pros: Cost. Easy set up. Tech Support. User interface. Msg Alert.
Batteries. Cons: Phone Naming. No Broadcast speakerphone ability.
I am replacing my 2.4Gz V-tech Gigaphone because the answering machine wouldn't turn off unless you unplug it, the time always gets out of sync after a day(even though I have caller id), one of the batteries died, and its only about 3 years old. The ...
Pros: Great mobility, great features, great phone! Cons: Needs a light-up keypad...and that's the only thing!
I've lived in this house for 4 years now and have owned 4 different phone systems. I've tried VTech, Uniden, a no-name brand, and now the Panasonic, and this will be the last that I'll purchase. I used 2.4 GHZ for years with regular telephone service ...
Pros: Lots of great features, easy to program, clear Cons: None as far as I'm concerned.
We were using an FM intercom system between our house and garage and had a two phone bundle system in our house. The intercom died, couldn't find a decent new one; plus we didn't have call display and decided with all the soliciting calls we get ...
Pros: No static, easy setup, good menu choices, large keys, comfortable handset Cons: Major negative: instant termination of call, volume deviations
I bought this particular make and model from rave reviews I'd read, and I purchased it from Sam's; I have had good results with Pansonic products. I sought clarity (there was no static experienced, that's true) and long range (which was average when ...
Pros: Good price, looks good on the desk, excellent display Cons: Stand has no height adjustment, no built-in speakers
If you want the largest LCD monitor possible for your computer without breaking the bank, you can't really go wrong with this Acer. It does a native resolution of 1920x1200, with a claimed contrast ratio of 1000:1. (As I understand it though, contrast ...
Pros: Nice looks, lots of features Cons: Lousy sound quality, complicated menu system
I bought this set of phones at Costco about three months ago. My principal disappointment is the sound quality -- as soon as I started using these phones, people began telling me that I sounded like I was talking in a tunnel. The sound quality in the other direction is also not as good as it should be, and the nature of the defects varies among the four handsets.
On some of the handsets, when you dial a number, the sound of the digits being dialed is irregular and chopped up, giving you the impression that the speaker is loose or about to disconnect entirely -- an unsettling condition in which to begin a phone call. Yet the choppiness disappears once the call goes through.
There is no excuse, given the sophistication of modern electronics, for a phone to have such low-quality sound. Panasonic should be ashamed to have designed such a lousy product.
The menu system on this phone is rather complex, but not bad once you learn it. And the phones look nice.
Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! by danibe ,Aug 02 '07
Pros: EXCELLENT sound quality. No interfernce. Nice collection of ring tones. Phonebook sharing. Cons: Uninspiring design style. Could be more "sexy". Only base unit is wall mountable.
It is amazing how one cordless phone system can differ from another. I decided to pay a little more and purchase this system instead of a Uniden 5.8GHz - and I am not sorry about this decision one little bit.
The quality of workmanship and design of this product is evident in every aspect of it: Even the AAA NiMh batteries and the way they fit into their compartment is impressive.
And most important of all - AMAZING sound quality. That's the most important feature of all - despite some misleading products out there...
Pros: 4 phones Cons: Lacks a backlit keypad. Even your cell phone is backlit!
Although it sounds good, it is missing several key items. The keypad is not backlit for use in the night or a darkened room in an emergency. You must turn on the lights to see the keypad. You can't delete the Missed Call from the screen. If you do not care about missed calls from solicitors, they just sit on the screen. Sticks out too far as a wall mount phone.
Much better than my last 2 phones! by alainep ,Aug 26 '07
Pros: Quality Cons: Erasing caller ID numbers takes several steps.
After being discouraged by my last 2 phone purchases, I was very leary about investing into a new phone system. So far I have been very please with these phones. I bought the one with 3 handsets. One handset is used in my husband's workshop about 100 feet from the house. Our old phone (a 5.8 Uniden) would ring, but he would have to grab it and head for the house to be able to actually answer it and talk to someone. On this one, he can talk from inside. We have had no interference issues from electronics to the phone, or from the phone to our wireless internet network.
Whenever I would talk to my daughter on our old phone, she would have to turn her volume up and often ask me to repeat what I was saying. She got a new phone system, and still had to do that, so it was something with ours. I tried changing channels, talking from different rooms, and anything else I could think of. She can now hear me just fine from anywhere I am and on any of the handsets.
Pros: Easy to use.
Multiple hand sets. Cons: Caller ID does not work when connected to my fax machine.
I recently replaced my Panasonic KX-TGA270S 2.4GHz with their newer model, the DECT 6.0 KX-TG1034S.
I choose it because I had good luck with the my previous Panasonic phone, it was newer technology, and the system came with 4 handsets.
The Panasonic phones are attractive and the menu options are easy to use. The sound quality is clear with no noticeable distortion.
I have two complaints about my new phone system.
1) Caller ID only works if the main unit is plugged directly into the phone jack. I have a home office and use one phone line for my fax and phone, which requires my answering machine to be plugged into the fax machine, so I currently do not have Caller ID. My previous Panasonic system was able to display Caller ID when connected to the same fax machine.
2) I set up the main unit and all the remote phones in exactly the same locations, but now the phone in our bedroom is out of range. I had no problem with the range of my previous Panasonic system.
Nice Phone Set, no Problems by glubash ,Oct 16 '08
Pros: No interference, good sound quality, good battery life. Cons: Can't use the phone and listen to recorded messages at the same time.
Once my 900MHz phones finally died, I was in the market for something new. I tried a couple of different models and then picked up this set and have been very happy with them. Good range, no interference with my wireless, the speaker phone works well (good for phone conferences), and I like the phone-to-phone intercom. I have not have any problems with sound quality and finally, the battery life is quite good.
