Pros: light, good sound quality, good battery life, good buttons Cons: none
I got this unit a couple of months ago when the existing living room cordless phone was getting a lot of static, couldnt hold a charge and the digital readout was failing. My wife uses cordless phones exclusively. She is disabled and cannot get ...

Pros: Speaker phone, intercom, automatic call transfer, battery charge indicator Cons: Small keys. Handset not very comfortable.
I'm satisfied with this phone. When you have a missed message (voice mail), this is indicated on the screen, but you can also program the unit so that the light on the handset slowly flashes. I prefer larger Call and Off buttons. The handset isn't ...

A Thousand Times No
by seaslug57 ,Feb 17 '08
Pros: None Cons: Worse than useless. You cannot talk and be heard, and it frustrates friends and family.
Four months ago, I bought two of these phones. Both quickly developed the annoying habit of cutting me out of the conversation a few minutes into every call. I can hear the person at the other end, but they cannot hear me.
These phones will be replaced. Panasonic will not see my phone business again.

Pretty Good Phone
by jaybryson ,Feb 26 '08
Pros: Chain-dialing. Inexpensive. Can talk to a caller on both handsets. Cons: No missed message light. Small buttons. Not very comfortable handset.
I'm satisfied with this phone, except that when you have a missed message (voice mail), this is only indicated on the screen, not on a light on the base unit or handset. I had hoped that it would display on the light on the handset (change color or flash), but technical support confirmed that this is not the case.
I prefer larger Call and Off buttons. The handset isn't very comfortable to hold.
It has chain-dialing (e.g. entering a number to contact a low-cost long-distance service, then entering the number of the person you want to call) but the process is more complicated that I like.
It is possible for a person on one handset to answer an outside call, and for a person on a second handset to pick it up and join the conversation. Not all cordless phones have this.
It has a battery charge indicator, which is nice. It has a good speaker phone.
The keypad does not light up.
Once you enter numbers into the address book they can/must be propagated to the other handset by pressing a certain combination of buttons.
