Pros: Good range/reception. Used in around heavy machinery, concrete walls, distance of 75' radius from base. Cons: Speaker/ringer fails eventually. Have wasted ALOT of work time exchanging the units (three, so far).
This Panasonic model was selected b/c we needed one at work with 2-line capability, and based on previous experience with Panasonic cordless phones, we felt a Panasonic would be good quality. Unfortunately, we are on our third phone of this model. The ...
Pros: Looks nice Cons: Does not work at the required home environment distance. Poor sound quality.
Panasonic markets this phone as Long Range, Clear Sound. Well, they must be talking about a different phone. I was stupid enough to buy this statement and acquired the base station plus additional 3 handsets. Beyond 60 feet the handset simply does not ...
Pros: Speakerphone clarity very good Cons: Outgoing message quality is "tin can-ish" Displays too small
Both handset & base displays are exceptionally small; difficult to read info on either. In what I do, I'm on the phone for 4 - 6 hours, non stop, every week day. Not sure if the suggested 5 hour battery life with talk is reassuring. Of course, I ...
Pros: High quality, easy to use, provides all the basic features. Cons: Earpiece volume should have more settings, include louder settings.
Basically, a very good system. Everything is great (features, screen, user-interface, look-and-feel), but I wish the earpiece volume could be adjusted louder. It does have a three-step volume control, but the loudest is just barely acceptable. I'd hope ...
Pros: Looks nice Cons: Does not work as required in a home environment. Bad sound quality.

Pros: Two-lines. Cons: Poor support, quality is not worth the price. Not reliable.
I would not recommend this phone for any serious business. The quality of the sound is poor for the the $159 paid at BestBuy, even worse is the customer and tech support. Replacements are refurbished phones, not new, even though I only ...
Good choice for 2 line cordless by rorsteven ,Dec 28 '06
Pros: Functional, good form factor, good voice quality, decent usability. Cons: Some usability issues, phone not usable if no electricity.
This item is actually just one package format for the Panasonic KX-TG6702B Twin Cordless Phone except that it contains only a single extension handset instead of the two with the KX-TG6702. Please see the detailed review(s) for the Panasonic KX-TG6702B Twin Cordless Phone (Click to the left) and the KX-TG6700B.
Note: It may be cheaper, depending on pricing, to buy the single station version and the individual expansion handsets than to buy the two-handset or four-handset packages.
Expandable 5.8Gz system same as KX-TG6702 by rorsteven ,Dec 27 '06
Pros: Functional, good form factor, good voice quality, decent usability. Cons: 5 hour talk time, some usability issues
This phone systems is identical to the KX-TG6702 except that it comes with only one cordless set and the base station. The KX-TG6702 comes with two cordless handsets. Click here to see the KX-TG6702 review.
Note
It may be cheaper to buy this model - the single set version - and then buy additional handsets as needed as pricing seems to be quite variable.
Pros: Makes a great doorstop Cons: Too many to list...see above
I have purchased 2 of these phones in less than 2 months and both have broken down. On the first phone, after only 3 weeks of use, the base unit buttons got stuck and I could not turn off the answering machine. The second phone after only 4 weeks of use, same problem but this time I couldn't turn the answering machine on. The phone was purchased from Fry's Electronics and I have a strong suspicion that Fry's trys to resell refurbished phones as new ones. When I went back to purchase the second phone, I noticed that some of the boxes were resealed and not the manufacturers seal and there was no sticker stating that it was refurbished. My brother also purchased a Panasonic and he's having problems with his phone as well. When I tried to call customer service at Panasonic, I was put on hold for 30 minutes and still could not get through. CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP QUALITY AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Problem after problem. I need to reset the phone every day just to be able to use. Can't make outgoing calls, terrible connections, phone locks up frequently.
Options inadequate. I will be returning this phone.
Pros: Easy to use, lightweight handsets. Cons: Very very low transmitter volume.
I bought the base unit plus 3 handsets. I hear my callers just fine, but they can barely hear me. And there is no way I have found to increase the microphone gain on these phones.
