  • Speaker fails after one month - have tried three phones!

    Jul 16, 2007 by
    Rated a Very Helpful Review
Pros: Good range/reception. Used in around heavy machinery, concrete walls, distance of 75' radius from base.
Cons: Speaker/ringer fails eventually. Have wasted ALOT of work time exchanging the units (three, so far).

Summary: This Panasonic model was selected b/c we needed one at work with 2-line capability, and based on previous experience with Panasonic cordless phones, we felt a Panasonic would be good quality. Unfortunately, we are on our third phone of this model. The ... read more

  • Panasonic KX-TG6700

    Pros: Two-lines.
Cons: Poor support, quality is not worth the price. Not reliable.

Summary: I would not recommend this phone for any serious business.  The quality of the sound is poor for the the $159 paid at BestBuy, even worse is the customer and tech support.  Replacements are refurbished phones, not new, even though I only ... read more

  • Good, but not the best for home/office use

    Jul 28, 2007 by
    Rated a Helpful Review
    Pros: Speakerphone clarity very good
Cons: Outgoing message quality is "tin can-ish" Displays too small

Summary: Both handset & base displays are exceptionally small; difficult to read info on either. In what I do, I'm on the phone for 4 - 6 hours, non stop, every week day. Not sure if the suggested 5 hour battery life with talk is reassuring. Of course, I ... read more

  • Short Distance, Low Voice Quility

    Jul 9, 2007 by
    Rated a Helpful Review
    Pros: Looks nice
Cons: Does not work as required in a home environment. Bad sound quality.

Summary: Panasonic markets this phone as Long Range, Clear Sound. Well, they must be talking about a different phone. I was stupid enough to buy this statement and acquired the base station plus additional 3 handsets. Beyond 60 feet the handset simply does not ... read more

  • Wish it was louder

    Sep 10, 2006 by
    Rated a Helpful Review
Pros: High quality, easy to use, provides all the basic features.
Cons: Earpiece volume should have more settings, include louder settings.

Summary: Basically, a very good system. Everything is great (features, screen, user-interface, look-and-feel), but I wish the earpiece volume could be adjusted louder. It does have a three-step volume control, but the loudest is just barely acceptable. I'd hope ... read more

    Pros: None
    Cons: Barely works.

Summary: Problem after problem. I need to reset the phone every day just to be able to use. Can't make outgoing calls, terrible connections, phone locks up frequently. Options inadequate. I will be returning this phone. ... read more

  • HORRIBLE PHONE

    Pros: Makes a great doorstop
Cons: Too many to list...see above

Summary: I have purchased 2 of these phones in less than 2 months and both have broken down. On the first phone, after only 3 weeks of use, the base unit buttons got stuck and I could not turn off the answering machine. The second phone after only 4 weeks of ... read more

Pros: Easy to use, lightweight handsets.
Cons: Very very low transmitter volume.

Summary: I bought the base unit plus 3 handsets. I hear my callers just fine, but they can barely hear me. And there is no way I have found to increase the microphone gain on these ... read more
