Panasonic KX-TGA270S 2.4 GHz 2-Line Cordless Expansion Handset

I have owned just about every brand of phone there is and have been dis-satisfied with most of them. The only cordless phone that I have truely ever liked is a Panasonic. I decided to pay the price and buy the expandable version. It works great. I was able to put one in the basement where there are no phone jacks and the likelyhood of my husband installing them slim. I even put one in the barn. The barn one does have static so we'll just use it for the intercom feature, sure beats having to run out in bad weather to talk with the hubby.

Cons: Color?

I tried every possible phone on the market. This one has great reception after it was adjusted. I have not had a problem with the battery not holding a charge. I did purchase a warranty and have not needed to use it. (I love the fact that it's base set can be mounted on the wall.)

Pros: Land line with answering machine
Cons: Not a worthy product and no one stands behind it

I purchased this product and started experiencing the phone not keeping a charge. I sent this phone back to Panasonic 3 separate times and they sent me a re-furbished one back each time. Same problem. NOW, the base unit is not working either. What a total ripoff.

Pros: CALLER ID/DIRECTORY FEATURES
Cons: BATTERIES ARE CRAP

I agree with the other reviews that this is a nice phone but the batteries are total crap. I had to go to Radio Shack and buy replacement batteries (about $15.00/ea.) and so far I really like their brand and it lasts so much longer. The phone base and phone set is really nice and I like the paging handset feature and the caller ID/directory features. I would buy additional extension handsets but they are pricey. Overall I'm very happy with these phones.
