So far, a great camera!
by ldylvbgr ,May 02 '05
Pros: 2AA batteries, lens protector, awesome Macro mode and great zoom. Cons: Sp far all I notice is the cheap plastic door cover to USB outlet.
We were given this camera as an upgrade to the LC70 which was out of stock (from my Husband's work bonus points/catalog). Going from a Kodak Easy Share CX6200, I wanted a camera that would take great closeups and have optical zoom, and a higher megapixel. Boy am I already impressed!! This is a 6x Optical (4x digital) 4.0 megapixel. The colors are so bright and vibrant. I also love that it'll take any AA battery (alkaline, Ni-MH or oxyride), so I plan to get rechargables. I've only had this a few days so Im still learning all about the fancy options it has.
This camera is small enough to fit in a pocket or purse. It has easy to manover buttons, and discriptions of what each option does. This also has adjustable shutter speeds. The software is also easy to use, but I wish it had the option of choosing which pictures to transfer from the camera (or maybe it does, and I haven't figured that out yet??).
So far, it's a great camera!

Great camera and nice zoom for the price!
by jeninpa ,Mar 20 '07
Pros: 6X zoom, image stabilization, excellent portraits Cons: not good in low light, no optical view finder
I have this camera. The zoom and the image stabilization are awesome! This does not take good indoor photo's unless they are close-up. There is alot of "noise" in the photo if you would take say pics of a basketball game in a gym. Now if you are outdoors the pics are great! If you take a "portrait" outdoors the photo truely looks professional!! I took this camera on a Disney Cruise and my pictures turned out GREAT! So for the $200 price I would say this little camera is nice!
