I bought this camera about a 18 month ago. The pictures were good although not the best I have seen. Then it died unexpectedly. The batteries were running low and when we tried to squeeze one last shot out of the camera is froze up. I put in new batteries but it is still locked up. When I called tech support, they said to reset the camera or send it in for service at a minimum charge of $261. I didn't pay this much for the camera and my reset did not fix the problem
