Pros: Fantastic colors and image clarity! VERY small for a 3 CCD camcorder. Cons: None as yet.
I recently purchased the Panasonic PV-GS150 to replace a Hi-8 Sony camcorder that I have owned for about seven years and the image quality during playback was absolutely incredible! I have a 52 inch widescreen projection TV and the colors and image ...
Pros: near-broadcast quality, digital format, firewire Cons: lightweight - can be difficult to eliminate shakes.
I was really intrigued when these 3CCD camcorders hit the market in 2004. I waited a while to get one until there was somewhat of a track record. I wanted to get a good model for the price that would easily allow me to do non-linear editing in iMovie ...
Pros: High quality video camcorder for consumer. 3CCD technology. Compact. Camera buit-in. Joystick feature. Cons: No optical stabilization. Decent still picture.
I bought this camcorder to replace my outdated 8 year olds Hi-8 Sony. I have read several expert and consumer reviews from different websites. I finally selected this camcorder due to its low price offered only two weeks by Sixth Ave Eletronics 6ave.com. ...
Pros: light and compact, vivid color (3CCD), easy to use, ability to add filters & lenses Cons: shakiness at higher zoom levels, low light shooting (hot shoe allows for accessory light)
The Panasonic PV-GS150 is my first digital camcorder. I had a friend mention the Panasonic line of 3CCD cams when I mentioned I was looking. After reading numerous reviews, comments, and ratings, I finally went with the 150. I have been using it for ...
Pros: Video quality, sound quality, and low light performance Cons: None. Does what it suppose to do, within reason.
I've been following this technology for several years watching for the quality and reliability of these units to improve to a better than satisfactory level; price also needed to come down. I've used camcorders in the past by borrowing friends units and ...
Pros: Superb video quality, good still pictures, remote control Cons: The manual focus adjustment is difficult to control
I bought this camera a little over 2 years ago and I am very happy with it. I've used it under many different lighting conditions - bright sunny days against the desert landscape of Arizona, bright sunny days against snow covered mountains, cloudy days ...
Pros: Small size, good color in bright light, lots of bells and whistles, built-in lens cover. Cons: Buttons placement, questionable low-light capability, lack of SD card, navigating features is a chore.
I had an older Canon Optura whose DV port no longer functioned and needed a replacement. The Panasonic PV-GS150 was the choice because the reviews and research had tagged it as a solid pick and I liked the idea of the 3 CCD chip camera.
Pros: highest quality image of its price range, 3ccd, wide screen function, small size, cool desgin, Cons: the autofocus function no longer works properly, widescreen format does not work in editing programs
This is an excellent camera for the price. The three CCDs really made a difference in image quality. Its ridiculously small, and has a much better image than its Sony counterparts. However, its seems to be a little fragile. The battery is also questionable, like all Camcorder batteries. The widescreen function is awesome but has drawbacks.
