Pros: Small size, good color in bright light, lots of bells and whistles, built-in lens cover.

I had an older Canon Optura whose DV port no longer functioned and needed a replacement. The Panasonic PV-GS150 was the choice because the reviews and research had tagged it as a solid pick and I liked the idea of the 3 CCD chip camera.

This is an excellent camera for the price. The three CCDs really made a difference in image quality. Its ridiculously small, and has a much better image than its Sony counterparts. However, its seems to be a little fragile. The battery is also questionable, like all Camcorder batteries. The widescreen function is awesome but has drawbacks.
