Pros: Noise canceling is marginally effective, unit folds up. Cons: Poor fit, poor sound quality, external circuit box is a pain.

Noise canceling DOES work well

Pros: Good Noise Canceling DSP for low frequencies. Long battery life. Cons: Could have better low frequency range.
I travel frequently and have tried a few different noise canceling headphones. Specifically, these blow away the Koss QZ50 & Sony MDR-NC5. They are not Sennheiser, but certainly well worth $30.
