Pros: Great sound for a great price Cons: nothing I can think of
After being yelled at for too long because my 4 speaker and subwoofer system was waking everyone up I decided to go for a decent pair of headphones. The only problem was that I had no cash. After browsing Circuit City for quite a bit, I set my eyes on...
I like these Panasonic headphones very much, but whether YOU do or not depends on what you are looking for in your headphones. I moved up to these from some poor quality COBY behind-the-head headphones. In all my previous headphones, they had all ...
Pros: Comfortable,
Great value,
Good sound isolation,
Good looking,
Long cord, with volume control. Cons: None
I've worn this phones for almost a year and have been very happy with my purchase.
My two most important purchase criteria, comfort and sound isolation, have been more than satisfied.
The phones are lightweight and fit well without being tight....
Pros: Very comfortable, long cord, volume control Cons: No mono/stereo switch
I have recently been getting complaints about my loud stereo at night. So I set out in search of some headphones. However finding headphones with a cord long enough to lay in my bed to watch dvd's or play games was not too easy. I was originally going...
Cheap - Do not purchase. by stoopidmonkey ,Dec 06 '07
Pros: Adjustable band. Long cable length. Cons: Poor quality construction. Holds too much heat in.
Owned for a few years. Rarely if ever used. Cord is too long. Earpiece material has disintegrated. Falling apart, as if dehydrated. The material is itchy. Audio quality is not spectacular. The volume control does not work very well. Extremely poor quality materials!
Pros: Solid sound at high volume. Inexpensive. Cons: Flat lifeless sound at low volume.
When I first used the headphones I was dissapointed. The sound was rather dull and lifeless. It sounded like the cheap headphones you get with a cheap portable CD player.
Then I turned the volume up. A million times better. I know this its a natural occurence for speakers to give more lively sound when they have more juice put through them, but the difference in these is much more than your average pair of speakers or headphones.
So if you want a pair of headphones for cranking some tunes latenight at home or the dormroom these will work really well. The isolation on them isn't perfect but you won't wake up a roommate with them cranked.
IF you're looking for a pair of headphones to use for a an mp3 or discman though, I'd look elsewhere. Portable players tend not to put as much power out the headphone jack, plus the chord on these is really really long, handy at home but not on the bus or train.
Pros: The best thing about them? I don't own them anymore. Cons:DULL sound. Inefficient speakers. Cord too long.
After reading the positive reviews on this site, I mail ordered a pair of these RP HT355's, and looked forward to the arrival of a pair of reasonably priced, decent sounding headphones. I tested them on a Carver amplifier and an IRiver portable CD player. I was unpleasantly surprised at the dull, flat sound. The quality was so poor that I instantly decided to return them.
I have several pair that I bought at tag sales, the kind that come with cheap radios and CD players. They sound way better than these. Plus, the headphones are quite inefficient as well, making them nearly unusable with many portable players.
Amazing -- great quality:price ratio by bbuhr ,Apr 05 '04
Pros: Excellent quality even at high volume, 10 ft cord, volume control on cord. Cons: Volume control will likely eventually (over 1+ year's time) have issues.
To pay this little and get this much is a real pleasure--Panasonic really delivered with this headphone.
The 40mm driver and XBS technology manages to deliver the frequency extremes at low to middle-high volume. Quality is excellent -- defining quality by lack of tonal distortion, echoing, frequency "fallout" at mid-volume levels. The extra long cord is a big plus for many people, and if it isn't needed it is nothing a twistie can't solve. Also, the cord has a potentiometer (variable volume control).
I use these headphones daily and give them their due wear. I have had two sets and each lasted 2 years (... and counting on my latest). However, do not be surprised if the potentiometer begins to fail after a year and you find yourself adjusting it to ensure sound through both channels.
This headphone gives $50-100 headphone performance for less than half that cost, and if you don't abuse them as I do I am certain their lifetime will extend much longer than I have experienced. I have used many and have yet to find a better headphone for the price.
Pros: Good sound, good price Cons: Get a little hot after excessive use
These are solid headphones with decent sound at a good price. I've had these for a few years now and have had no problem with them. Sound quality is great at both low and high ends. Little to no distortion when volume is turned up.
