Pros: Everything Cons: Dude, I totally dig your fly headphones...awesome... dude.
Yesterday, I told you about one of the worst pair of headphones I have ever owned. Today, its only fair that I tell you about the best. I have a brother who is ten years older than I. He is also an avid fan of music, across all genres and ...
Pros: - very sturdy design
- a long cord!!
- great sound for the price Cons: - volume control doesn't lower volume very smoothly
I had originally bought this pair of headphones nearly three years ago because they were priced at a mere $35CAD at Walmart, and the specs killed everything else, plus I was looking for something with a big driver unit for bass and nice cups for sound ...
Pros: Closed-in, large cups, light weight, comfortable, great sound for a great price! Cons: Cord is actually TOO long, cups may be too large for some.
I went headphone shopping because my current pair of closed-in headphones didn't fit over my large ears, and I wanted something that I could wear for long periods without getting sore ears simply from wearing them. Nevermind the loud music.
Pros: Volume control and a handy mute switch, quite comfortable, cheap Cons: Muffled sound, weak bass, ridiculously long cord (though some may not find this a con)
Before I start I'd like to mention that I have a jazz background, and that is pretty much all the music that these headphones have been used for by me. Price: More then acceptable. In fact, such a price for headphones of this style (large cups) may ...
These are good priced headphones. by no_religion ,Nov 30 '06
Pros: Price, quality, performance. Cons: long cord - maybe the large cups could hold a retractable cord or something
I do not know what the other two "reviews" were expecting for $40CDN?You get headphones with a 40mm driver and a range of 10 Hz - 27000 kHz, blows away everything else in it's price range on store shelves now. And believe me, I only spent the 40 when I was okay with 30 and then saw the diff and said what the hell.
Most of us probably buy them after going through various inner, back and outer ear headphones and like me, will appreciate how they feel more like real headphones like back-in-the-day, plush-big 'phones. And yeah you can hear muffled sounds quite well through them if you are working in an office at low volumes. And believe me, it's a performer outside.
Muffled bass? I wonder about these things, what sort device are you using and how did you record the music? Do you know what an equalizer is and it's proper use? Hell you could be sony guys, bad-mouthing a modestly-priced great set of headphones - just like panasonic did with those great blue HP-RG20 headphones many of us found - another great price / performance set.
