Pros: Excellent color accuracy and low light performance. Hard Drive convenience with Mpeg-2 exports.
Cons: No separate view finder. Can't offload movies to computer on battery power.

Pros: Hard disk storage, high end sensors, ease of use
Cons: Somewhat pricey, requires a fairly new computer to handle video processing.

Pros: Easy to use, great results with video and good with pictures.
Cons: No zoom during playback on the camera itself, but can in playback on the computer.
Summary: After reading many reviews on many camcorders, I decided to go with this one. I had high expectations, and so far it has surpassed them all. Recording, playback, taking pictures, and reviewing them are all very easy to do, with convenient controls.
