Pros: Small. Lightweight. Splash and dust resistant. SD card storage makes for quick computer transfer. Cons: Fiddly to hold. Awkward button placement. Videos are washed out/faded looking in appearance.
Have you ever wanted to take video of something but just didn't feel like lugging around a standard-sized camcorder? That's probably what Panasonic engineers had in mind when they developed the S10 camcorder. Very small, very light weight, and ...

Pros: Simple to use, water and dust resistant, excellent picture Cons: Wish it had a lens cap
I have been using this little camera for a couple weeks now and really like it. The picture quality is very good, with a caveat, the recorded files must first go through a computer. This is of utmost importance, and also the reason I suspect for so many ...

Pros: compact and light Cons: not good indoors

a great unit for casual trips and family events, and beginning camcorder owners.

Pros: Size,
Simplicity,
Image quality (outdoors) Cons: Image quality (low/night light),
Software
I've had this camcorder for a couple months now and I'm very happy with it.
The camera has great imaging during the day, outdoors, and indoors with ample lighting. It's size makes it very easy to keep it with you almost where ever you go. I even recorded a "first person" clip on a roller coaster which turned out nicely. The SD card storage is a nice touch, no more "buzz" from the cassette motors on your recording. It does fall a bit short in lower light settings so beware if you're looking to take out on night hikes and such, but it is splash proof and shock proof up to 4ft.
Overall a great unit for casual trips and family events, and beginning camcorder owners.
