Pros: * Crisp details, rich colors on HDTV channels * Great value * Slim profile for wall mounting Cons: * Risk of burn-in * Anti-glare coating not entirely effective
It's pretty undisputed that any football fan would love a 50" big-screen TV. My husband has been lusting for one for a few months now and trying to convince me to jump on board. I, on the other hand, have resisted his request to upgrade as ...
Pros: Great picture for the money - better TVs cost a lot more. Cons: 720p, mediocre remote, no PIP
Take a look around the current TV market - projection TVs are a thing of the past - Rear Projection "tube" tv's and LCD projection TVs cannot be found for sale, except on "closeout" deals. DLP TVs are still alive and kicking for the moment, though it ...
Pros: Nice picture and color, lightweight, affordable, reliable reputation Cons: Flat panel TVs have stopped dropping in cost as much as in the past.
I don't know a lot about electronics but my brother is an audio/videophile and when my choice came down to this and another brand he said go Panasonic in a plasma. I'm glad I did. For about $1,100 delivered to my door from amazon.com I ...
I did something right. I bought this 50" plasma TV. by herrman ,Oct 08 '08
Pros: Price, picture quality, styling, screen size, and ease of use. Cons: Still some very minor glare from reflected light in the room.
Absolutely fantastic picture, fairly easy setup, great styling, and I didn't dislocate my shoulder lifting it onto my TV stand (it only weighs 85 lbs.). This is my third Panasonic TV. I've owned it about a month and I love it. (Note: I'm a football game junkie.) It is a plasma and does generate somewhat more heat than an LCD set which might be something for buyers to consider. I still feel that the plasmas have a superior picture to the LCD sets, and the added cost going to an equivalent sized LCD set didn't really justify the cost of the power I would save.
Pros: The right balance of quality, features and price. Cons: None so far.
If your looking for a quality TV for around $900.00, you found it! I did a lot of comparison shopping and read many reviews such as this and am very happy with my decission. This TV has plenty of features and plug-ins for the typical user. With a standard cable hook up the picture was bright and clear. Switched over to HD and it is very impressive. You'll certainly get to see your local news people in a new light. Sometimes that aint so good :(.
