This is a terrific efficient air conditioner. I have 4 of these in my house and they are so quiet..... I have had other a/c's and they're not as quiet. It has a slide out chassis that makes for a longer period of time to install, but makes a sturdy sealed install that also looks good. I recommend it!

I bought this model in 2003. I will reinforce what previous reviewers have said. This is one quiet air conditioner!. Seems to be very efficient with electricity, I barely notice a jump in my bill w/ heavy usage. The air deflectors are the weak spot. Up and down is OK but side to side is poor. Slide-in chassis is great for taking in and out every year. Easily cools 350' sq.. I wish I could get 2 more of these. Not sure if they still make them.
