When you have naturally wavy or curly hair you sometimes need help to tame the fizz and define your curl. This product would not be my first choice for any of those purposes.

I've tried every product on the market and have finally found the best one for curly hair. I've read all of the other reviews and think that most people are using this product wrong. I've used just regular strong hold Pantene gel for years and that leaves my hair dry and sticky. This gel is so much different. First of all, scrunch it in and DO NOT comb it through. Also, use a small amount and blow dry on low heat. My hair is so beautiful, full of curls that bounce and last all day. My husband commented on how nice my hair looked. My hair always has some frizz but with this new product, the frizz has been eliminated. If you have wavy hair this is the product for you. I used to straighten my hair and now just go with the curls and I get so many compliments. When used correctly, this product is the best one on the market and since I usually buy Aveda products, I find the price to be very cheap and not expensive at all. I'm going to stock up on this stuff!

I knew this was a gel-like product that would have some degree hold, but I never expected my hair to feel straw-like and stiff as wire. It felt like my strands of hair were glued together. It's totally inappropriate for any curly-heads who want to let their hair dry naturally, as I do.

I just started using this gel and it is wonderful! I used to use John Frieda Gel, and I thought it was working, until I used this product.
I have naturally curly hair and when I leave it down I soon look as if I have been electricuted. Not with this gel, though. It perfectly defines my curls and keeps them flatter against my head, so they're not all over.
Also, my past gel left me with white, dry flakes after it hardened, but this Pantene gel doesn't at all. Rather, it leaves me with smooth, controlable hair.

I bought this product to help define my slightly wavy hair. I spray it on my hair wet and then scrunch away. It seems to work well as far as holding my waves, but when I use it my hair actually becomes brittle and breaks. I'll run my fingers through my hair and the ends just break off. Not to mention it makes my hair smell burnt. This product is icky and damaging to hair!!
