Pros: Replay value, the use of flipping, old school feel Cons: Some areas are nearly impossible unless you have a guide.
Summary: I was so hyped on Super Paper Mario for the Nintendo wii. I mean I had a countdown. Sadly though I didn’t put in a deposit for a pre-sale. However with some good use of words, and a little manipulation, I got my copy the day of release. YIPPIE!!!! So ... read more

Pros: Great story, soundtrack, and a powerful emotional impact. Cons: Some features feel tacked on. It really should have been a Gamecube game.
Summary: The Paper Mario series is an incredible series. Despite my belief that its handheld counterparts are superior in just about every way, I cannot deny that Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is one of the most finely crafted RPGs ever made. It has some ... read more

Pros: Curious gameplay in general Cons: Doesn't utlilize the Wii remote much, mediocre sprites
Summary: I don't know how this game gets off calling itself "Super Paper Mario" as opposed to "Paper Mario". I am no beginner to the Mario RPG game franchise. It started with, well, Mario RPG for the SNES, which, despite being the least like a Mario game, was ... read more

Pros: A really enjoyable game, a fresh twist on a classic. Cons: Too much unnecessary talking (pressing A for ten hours)
Summary: I have been a fan of Paper Mario since day one, so I was very excited to receive this game for my birthday two weeks ago. I was really excited to play it, and I was disappointed to turn it on and have to go through half an hour of dialogue before I even ... read more

Pros: Intuitive, 'old-school' fun Cons: There is a LOT of reading to do throughout the game (lots of dialogue)
Summary: In all honesty I have been out of the video gaming world after Sega Genesis. I just lost the appeal to play games I basically felt I needed to study the instruction manual and controls for. That all changed when the Nintendo Wii came out with its new ... read more

Pros: Fun game, unique gameplay mechanic. Mario! Cons: The game is a little on the short side (approximately 20-25 hours).

Pros: Some great set peices Cons: Some awful set peices
Summary: Super Paper Mario is a mixed bag; it contains some sparkling examples of excellent game play and wit, but for each jewel you will have to fight through lashings of dullness and repetition. I would heartily recommend a "director cut" version of Super ... read more

Pros: Fun, hysterical storytelling, funny characters, and a good story Cons: Some touchy controls that may not always detect, but this is a minor point
Summary: I love platformers. Not as much as I love RPG games, but they definitely rank a close second. Recently, I was craving a good, old fashioned, cartoony platform title. Having bought a Wii system this past November, I decided to actually invest in ... read more

Pros: Looks great, plays great, sounds great. Cons: Pacing can be slow, more text than the Iliad and the Odyssey put together.
Summary: Oh, little Jumpman - how far you have come from your humble ape hunting days. I remember you when you were just a wee (wii?) little 8-bit red and blue sprite that could barely swing a hammer. Since then you've been a boxing referee, a plumber, a big game ... read more
