Pros: world class pizza, fun decor, relatively cheap Cons: bring your cash, credit cards are not accepted
This past December (2004), I had the privilege of visiting the Big Apple for the very first time in my life. Having spent the majority of my life in California, I loved and enjoyed the metropolitan change of pace New York offered. More importantly, as ...
Pros: Excellent Pizza, Good Service Cons: Slightly Expensive, Sometimes there is a Wait to be Seated
I am admittedly not a food expert, nor do I have extra sensitive taste buds, I have, over the years, eaten pizza in almost every pizza place in the city. Several of my friends are also people who have "eaten around". No it is no coincidence that me and...
Pros: Great food, delightful taste, hearty portions. Cons: No credit cards accepted, thats it!
I've recently discovered Patsy's Pizzeria from a friends recommendation. I have never been a big fan of Itlian food nor pasta but everyone just told me "its probably because you've never tasted good Italian food". Which at first I was in denial and just ...
Pros: incredible food, good prices, incredible food Cons: living too far away to and not being able to eat there all the time
There is not much to say about Patsy's, except it is the best food I have ever had. I have eaten there 3 times in the past year, which are all the times I've been to the city in the past year also. My friend and I were going to make a trip into the city...
Patsy's pizza is the best, in my opinion. When I moved to NYC I read up on the most renowned pizzerias. I went to the top three, Lombardi's John's and Patsy's. Patsy's is #1 for me hands down.
The pie is light and fresh tasting, not greasy at...
Pros: good quality food, large portions, family friendly Cons: none
Patsy's is a wonderful family restaurant. In fact, I wouldn't recommend going there without at least four people, as you will have a tough time ordering. The salads, which are delicious, fresh and hearty, come in bowls large enough to give appetizers...
Pros: Good, spicy italian cuisine. Cons: Having a racist waiter.
The food was fabulous, but it came with a free side of racism that I didn't order. My friend and I ate at Patsy's on a Saturday night, and were promptly seated, which we thought was a foreshadowing of a great eating experience. We waited patiently for...
Pros: The best pizza I have ever tasted Cons: Cash only, no delivery
Patsy's Pizza is the best pizza I have ever tasted. Having lived in Manhattan for many years, I have tasted a lot of good pizza. No pizza can compete with Patsy's. Patsy's redefined my expectations for a pizza pie. The cheese is so fresh and real, not...
Pros: food, service Cons: not place to take first date, maybe third
My friend took me to this restaurant several weeks ago and I've been back three times. The pizza's wonderful, reminds me of Italy's, thin crust, not too much cheese, not too little, the way pizza should be. Also, try the lobster ravioli. I usually try...
Pros: good pizza, large serving sized entrees Cons: lines can be long
Most people that go to Patsy's go for the pizza so I'd like to point out that this is not your typical New York 2 slices and a can of coke for $4 kind of place. It's a sit down restaurant and bar with sometimes horrific line because they don't take...
Pros: Friendly service, great pizza, menu with many options, decent location, pocket-friendly prices
Cons: Might pose health hazard with cockroaches. Credit card unfriendly.
This used to be our group's favorite pizzeria. It has always had friendly service, great tasting pizza, a menu with many options, decent location, good decor and pocket-friendly prices.
However, this all changed when we went to the pizzeria last time and spied a couple of cockroaches making their merry rounds, antennae awave.
Now I do not go there although some of my friends still like to frequent it. Their logic? That 99% of New York City restaurants have critters, so why even bother?
But I, for one, cannot forget that image.
