Pros: Oh so beautiful! such attention to fine detail and innovation made for players
Cons: I personally dont care for the quick lock tuning pegs

  • Nice guitar, great tone and looks, but quality not what I expected.

    Apr 02 '07
Pros: Nicely made, comfortable to play, good action, good tone. I like the locking tuners.
Cons: Needs better finish on neck. Factory Quality checks for loose screws would help

Summary: I just purchased my first American PRS (CE 22). I bought it because they are beautiful looking, sound great and seem to be in widespread use. I had previously owned a Santana SE that was absolutely beautifully made, with nicely finished frets and ...

  • Flame Maple Heaven !! :)

    Pros: Everything.
    Cons: No complaints here.

Summary: First of all let me say that I was very skeptical about spending $1,000+ on any guitar. I purchased my CE22 from EBay and received it today. The finish is spectacular. This guitar is a 2002 model and features the new Phase II locking tuners, Dragon ...

Pros: Amazing tone, beautiful finish, nice feel.
    Cons: Annoying locking tuners.

Summary: I've been playing guitars for many years. I play rock, jazz and blues, but I prefer to play pretty heavy and fast. I've owned many different brands of guitars, and I've owned several PRS guitars.

Every PRS guitar that I have ever played had...

Pros: beautiful looks, variety of tonal options, easy to play, simple to string
Cons: expensive, pickups may leave something to be desired

    Summary: A little background:
My PRS CE22 is a '97 model, blue flametop with a stoptail, a wide/thin neck, mahogany body, and rosewood fretboard with abalone inlays. The stoptail is no longer available on this model, it is only available with a tremolo. The...

  • The Day The Mitch Became Mitch_2000

    Sep 11 '00
    Pros: Heavenly tone
Cons: Price is out of range for most people

Summary: The Mitch was never one to have much musical ability or talent. But in the summer of '73, I met a young lass who filled me with the beautiful sunshine of her voice. Music seemed as though it radiated from her soul. I cherished our moments together, and...

Summary: That's right, for any type of musician you can get your sound with this guitar. I have seen numerous amounts of famous musicians using PRS, which shows me that they are doing something right! The Dragon pickups that are with the guitar are screaming with...

    Nov 26 '05
Pros: Tuning System, Versatility, Beauty, Unbeatable Tone
Cons: Nothing at all is bad about this guitar.

Summary: This is a great guitar!!!! I got this guitar for Christmas, and it is the best present that I have ever gotten. The tone that this guitar has is unbeatable. It is pretty much a mix between a Strat and a Les Paul. It looks like a combination of the two
