nice canoe
by boatg ,Jul 03 '06
Pros: inexpensive, sturdy, ?ram x Cons: approximately 80lbs
the new colorado is better than i expected. I reviewed the colorado on the internet, and the reviews were awful. however, after i have taken the colorado out several times, i love it. do not get me wrong, the colorado is a canoe and it is tipsy. i have gone canoeing tantem and solo on the colorado (both enjoyable). tracking and manueverability are good. the keelson seems to stiffen the canoe. dicks has the colorado and paddles for cheap. enjoy and happy canoeing.
ps i modified a trailer from harbor freight for towing so i do not have to lift the colorado after a long trip. i am also working on a stabilizer/outrigger for better stability.
