Axim X5, I lost the built-in stylus. I don't know how or when, I just lost it. Replacements from Dell would have cost me $12.00 so I opted for something less expensive. A friend ...
Pros: Price, ease of use, stylish Cons: Only available in 2 colors, I would love to see it in a red.
If you own a PDA, the Paper Mate PhD Multi pen is a must have! If you have ever tried to write with that thin little stylus, which fits so nicely into the side of your PDA, you know that at times it is next to impossible. Add to this the fact that in ...

Why I bought the Papermate PhD 3 in 1 Pen, Pencil, and Stylus I attend a lot of meetings at work, and before I owned my Papermate PhD I would carry a pen and pencil with me to meetings (as well as my PDA). I became very good at shuffling between m ...
Pros: Great tool, good pen, good pencil, Excellent PDA stylus. Cons: Limited pencil lead capacity, plastic construction has limited lifetime.
Being a tech professional, I spend a lot of time still working in pencil, a lot of time writing in ink, and a lot of time poking and scribbling on my trusty PDA. Make that PDAs, as I tend to break them pretty quickly. It was while looking for a ...
Pros: Solid, heavy, substantial, functional, and classy. Cons: A little more expensive than others, but worth it!

Pros: Stylish, functional, well worth the money if you're not the type to lose pens. Cons: Method of pencil lead replacement is non-intuitive.
This writing tool looks good, and so far seems to function pretty well. It took a bit to get used to twisting the grip to retract the pen instead of "clicking" the back. It's great that it comes with a stylus tool -- the ones that come with PDAs tend to be toothpick-like (of necessity) and hard to write with. This is really a writing tool for the modern man.
The only weird thing was figuring out how to change the pencil lead. I threw away the package pretty quickly, so I don't know if it was on there or not, but you've gotta unscrew the base, then pull out the end of the mechanical pencil part to access the little tube that holds the leads. You can also store some extra leads in the tube for the stylus, which I thought was pretty cool.
