Philips 27MS4504 27 inch TV

Pros: Great picture quality and overall look
Cons: Heavy for it's size.

I have been impressed with this TV since I bought it one month ago. It is a winning combination of great picture quality and a fantastic value. Guests in my home have inquired on first seeing it as to it being LCD, they are often surprised that it is in fact a standard flat tube. I purchased purchased it for use in my master bedroom. I was so impressed by it that I just purchased a similar 32" model for my living room.

Pros: NONE!!!!!!!!!!
Cons: The whole magnavox/phillips BS experience!

This piece stopped working 2 months after I bought it. The worst part is that Magnavox will not repair it! They have had it in the service for 2 months! To top it off apparently they havent even ordered the part accoding to the shop working on it. This has resulted in me calling them several times to ask for a refund since it was brand new and obviously not getting repaired anytime soon. I've been told too many times that it has to go thru their appropriate corporate channels and that I would have to wait. I've even had to write a letter to the president, which the rep on the phone told me to do and ofcouse I get no reply. When you write a email detailing your problem on their website it just spits some aut generated answer to you a few days later. At this point I've bought a new tv with the hopes that Magnavox just cuts me a check. Do Not Buy! Danger!
