Pros: Amazing 3d sound, well designed, rich bass, high treble. Cons: I can't think of any.

, CD, or even cassette, do yourself a favor. Get rid of whatever headphones youre using and run out and buy a pair of Philips HE-592 ...
Pros: Incredible sound quality, volume, and bass. Cons: Only seems to come in white, case is a bit of a pain to use.
I picked these up for a plane trip, after struggling to hear my prior over-the-ear headphones on an earlier flight. Wow, what a difference! My specific situation: I have used these headphones primarily to listen to spoken word recordings on my ...
Pros: Inexpensive. Amazing fullness of sound for their size and price. Comfortable when properly fitted Cons: Asymetric wire design. Nearly useless case. Takes some patience in finding proper fit.
Not since the development of the original Sony Walkman has personal music equipment garnered the attention that MP3 players and I-Pods have in the last 5 years. Increases in technology along with freefalling prices in RAM have made high capacity MP3 ...
Pros: You may notice that your same old music sounds new and interesting. Cons: They may not stay in, case is too difficult to repack several times a day.
VOLUME: At 16 ohms impedance, they extract more power from your ipod/mp3 player than all other earbuds I've either tried or read specs on. Most headphones are 32 ohm (extracting less power from the amp), and some louder ones are 24 ohm. SOUND ...
Pros: Great listening experience, patented virtual surround sound, more volume, good price, iPod colors.
Cons: Will not fit all ears comfortably.
After listening to these earphones, I felt I just had to spread the news. The virtual surround sound design won design and engineering showcase honors at the 2004 International Consumer Electronics Show. The patented reflected speaker design gives the ...
Pros: Surprising low range with innovative tech, inexpensive for quality delivered Cons: Potentially unforgiving fit
Finally frustrated with the cheap headphones I had been using, I decided to upgrade to the slightly less cheap level. What a difference $10 made. I was most struck by the excellent apparent range of these headphones, especially on the bass end. ...
Pros: Inexpensive, sturdy & attractive design, decent sound Cons: Large, uncomfortable, hard plastic earbuds, don't fit into ear canals; inferior sound
I recently bought these Philips HE-592 earbuds and was disappointed by the lack of sound quality & the pain they caused my ears. I only bought them because I was in a rush, needed some cheap headphones (& wasn't willing to pay the regular store cost of ...
Pros: Incredible sound quality! Never heard anything like it from a regular set of in-ear headphones! Cons: The sound is worthless if you cannot get them to stay in your ears.
I purchased these in-ear headphones because I needed a pair to wear while I worked out and my husband's were hard to hear out of and were uncomfortable. I was very impressed when I initially put them in my ears to listen - the sound was ...
Pros: Sound, price Cons: Don't stay in ears. Ever.
The sound is great, but these earbuds drive me crazy because they always fall out of my ears. Even when I'm just sitting at my desk, I must constantly reposition them to prevent them from falling right out of my ears.
Forget about running/exercising/traveling with these. They do not stay put.
Pros: Inexpensive, excellent surround sound Cons: Rubber tips can fall off
I bought these from Target for $19.99 and I LOVE them! I have used them since I got my iPod nano, about 3 years now. I even tried the new Bose in-ear earbuds and the Shure E2Cs. I returned them both and went back to these Philips! I am completely happy with my $20 earbuds. I love the surround sound, you can really hear the surround sound and the sound doesn't feel like it's all in your head, but just like it says "surround sound".
The only minor complaint is that the rubber tips do fall off and get lost. But I have fixed that problem by putting a tiny bit of super glue on the edges of the tips. Now I have no complaints at all!
great inexpensive earphones by djrruns26m ,Aug 07 '06
Pros: Comfort, they stay in your ears, great sound, cheap Cons: Weird wire configuration. One side is short and the other ear is really long.
I bought these for my ipod. I needed comfortable headphones that were light and would stay in my ears while running. I previously used earbuds that continually fell out and hurt my ears, Sennheiser 500 - good sound but fit only slightly better than earbuds, and Sony earclips. The earclips didn't have great sound because they shifted away from your ear, but they stayed on. I decided to try the Philips for about the same price ($20 at Target, but much less on line). Not only were they comfortable, but they stay in my ears while running on hot humid days. The sound is great. They call it surround sound. Instead of feeling like the music is getting jammed in to your brain, it's as if your head is floating in the music. I highly recommend them.
Best for the Money !!! All you need !!! by mq4188 ,May 29 '06
Pros: Great sound, great fit, great price. Cons: None
Great price, Great fit. I have tried a bunch of others; some costing much more. These are as good or better than the others. Great surround sound, Gold plated input jack and comfortable fit.
When these wear out, if they do, I will buy them again.
Good length of cabling.
Soft rubber carrying case a nice feature as well.
If these fit well with either the small or larger flexible rubber ear fit piece then there is no need for a noise cancelling feature. I have noise cancelling headphones but they are not handy for running and workouts, but these ear buds are.
You're missing out if you still have your standard buds! by cgongon ,Oct 28 '05
Pros: the quality of the bass and treble. Cons: ???? none so far.
If you have an iPod or any mp3 player chances are you like music and high quality sound. When you put these buds in your ear, Wow, What a difference from the factory buds. They are very reasonably priced and the sound quality is fantastic. You'll love the "new" sound coming from your iPod.
