Pros: Smells just like Falling In Love; moisturizes very well; moisture lasts; big bottle Cons: None in this bottle!
I love pretty much every Philosophy product I try. There have been one or two that I haven't really liked, but Philosophy largely knows what they are doing when it comes to beauty products. I loved the first three Philosophy ...

Pros: smells heavenly; good moisturizer; fragrance lasts a decent amount of time; large-sized bottle Cons: $34 for body lotion (but it’s a good value- read on!)
I have a small but growing collection of Philosophy products. I got a set of the Falling in Love fragrance spray and 3-in-1 body wash for free during a promotion from Lucky Magazine a few months ago, and I absolutely fell in love (please excuse the ...

Fell in love
by rabbitgoat ,Mar 02 '07
Pros: scent is divine, goes on smooth Cons: expensive, scent doesn't last a long time
I received this as part of the "Falling in Love" gift set. I absolutely love the scent. The lotion's scent does linger, but the lotion itself isn't as moisturizing as I would like it to be. As a scent layering device, however, it does its job. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. If you love the scent though, it may be worth the price.

I Fell in Love with It!
by macys_mom ,Feb 21 '05
Pros: Soft, soft scent. No oily or slick feel. Easy to order online from philosophy site. Cons: Scent of lotion only fades faster than I'd like.
I had never used philosophy before reading the reviews here and seeing the presentation on QVC. I have very sensitive skin prone to rashes, and I easily get migraines. Sometimes the least scent I come across triggers a head ache. I got a sample of the lotion in a Purity purchase, and now am hooked on it. The scent isn't strong, and even my husband likes it. I put a small extra bit on my arms before I go to bed so that I can go to sleep with that calming scent. It doesn't leave your skin slick or sticky, just soft. When you rub it in, you don't know it's there. I'd recommend it to anyone sensitive to smell or who stays away from body lotion because they think it feels too "icky".

Lovely product!
by emmajo ,Jan 02 '07
Pros: Delicious fragrance! Cons: Wish it was more moisturizing
I love the scent of this product! Like the Amazing Grace lotion, I have to layer this over something more moisturizing, but the scent is worth it. The fragrance of this lotion lasts a long time and blends into other fragrances really well. I hate the spray version on this fragrance because of the blackberry in it, but this is yummy and soft but still clean. The fragrance is subtle and very sexy!

A scented lotion that actually moisturizes
by jae2808 ,Nov 01 '04
Pros: Great scent, moisturizing, beautiful packaging (like all philosophy products!) Cons: a bit pricey for a scented lotion, but well worth it
I first tried philosophy's Falling in Love perfume, and it became my every day scent. I picked this up on a trip to Sephora (where every time I visit I spend every last dime I have) thinking it would be a nice little lotion for just the scent. To my surprise, unlike most of the more fragrant lotions from Bath and Body Works or the Body Shop, the Falling in Love lotion was very moisturizing, not greasy feeling, and not too watery. The scent is no different than the Falling in Love perfume, and it also lingers on throughout the day. The lotion doesn't have an extremely harsh scent went you put it on, and it seems to last at the same level throughout the day.
Falling in Love is an indulgent lotion for the senses. Its moisturizing and perfume qualities make this an everyday must-have.

A great lotion with a heavenly, girly fragrance.
by tracymr ,Mar 17 '07
Pros: Incredible fragrance, lotion keeps my skin soft all day. Cons: A bit pricey.
I have always been a fan of Philosophy products. Their scented products (shower gels, bubble baths, soaps, lotions, perfumes, etc.) always have unique but irresistible scents, and work wonderfully.
Their Falling in Love Perfumed Body Lotion is no exception. I absolutely love the scent...apparently, someone at Philosophy thought that falling in love smelled a bit like cotton candy - the scent is sweet, slightly fruity, with some vanilla in there...but the first thing that came to mind was cotton candy.
The lotion does a great job of making my skin soft and smooth. Its effects last all day, and the scent does, too! This lotion is the only scent I wear, and even after a day at work, I can still smell this stuff on my skin.
This stuff is a bit pricey. Although, the scent is heavenly, and it lasts way longer than most other (less expensive) lotions I've tried. And the bottle is huge. So it's worth it - at least to me.

FABULOUS!!!!!
by sharriso ,Apr 01 '05
Pros: Light, pleasing scent. Non-greasy. Cons: None.
This lotion absorbs well into your skin without leaving a greasy or sticky feeling. Makes skin soft and smooth and has a heavenly scent! I have asthma and am allergic to smells from so many lotions or perfumes and this one doesn't bother me. It's great!
