Pros: Thick and rich yet not heavy or greasy, improves the texture of skin. Cons: Theraputic scent, expensive to replace, but large size available.
I am a fairly new consumer of Philosophy products - I started using them about three months ago and have been transitioning all of my skin care products to Philosophy as I run out since then. The first product I used was Philosophy Purity Made Simple ...

Pros: I'm not sure, it didn't work for me. Cons: It didn't work for me.

Left me scarred!! (word of warning contains Parabens)
by kcaseyk ,Nov 18 '07
Pros: None Cons: can leave your skin damaged ,my skin is still damaged over a year later!
I tried a whole range off Philosophy products about a year ago , i wished i never , after 2 weeks off use the Hope in a jar i noticed bright white marks on my skin, i quickly stopped using the products my eyes look like panda eyes and my cheeks also had faint white marks.
I could only put it down to this product seeing as i wasn't using anything else on my face.
I went to see a skin specialist who told me he thinks its the methylparaben, propylparaben in the product and its brought me out in a reaction.
I never knew that i could get a reaction from these ingredients , no warnings on the Philosophy bottles etc to state that its not suitable for sensitive skin.
Philosophy had the cheek to offer me some free gifts , like i would be interested after what it did to my skin!
They also soon shut me out and ignored my emails regarding my problems when i went to see a skin specialist , something to hide?
I wouldn't trust this company ever again and please look up methylparaben, propylparaben incase this happens to you.
